The MLAV Begins its EDL Process Mission Control is full of anxiety "Turms has Landed" Now we have MASARE Orbital Insertion Now after Crux 10 (which i forgot to screenshot), comes the De-orbiting of Crux 8 Re-entry Thanks for reading, Its just to give you guys some content, Chapter 12 will be on 26/12/20 (AEDT)
  2. The Lyra Program - Chapter 11: Moon or Bust! (p2) As the date to Crux-9 came closer, Tests of the Gojira began, Shortly after the announcement, Hopper1 went up 140m and before Crux 9, GN8 launches to 12km "GN8 has landed, Congrats to the team at TundraX, Next Stop 80km" Now Altair 1 is on the pad, Ready to perform an apollo 10 Like mission Now Crux-9 Launches Altair 1 begins its descent to a simulated abort situation, at 6km CDR Ralph Cook and PLT Kathryn Hicks will trigger the abort motor and lift back to the orion. Altair 1 soon loses contact with Houston for an unknown reason, 48hrs later the Crew of Altair 1 is presumed dead. An inquiry reveals that Ralph Cook accidentally programmed the system wrong which would've triggered the abort motor before impact. due to the Accident being caused by a Human error, not Hardware or Software error, All other altair missions are still on schedule. MIS Henry Harris begins his journey back to Earth, but he refuses... "Henry, You have a girlfriend and you are only 28. Don't through your life away." "When I was assigned to this mission, I took an oath. If Hicks and Cook died. I wouldn't return and that's final" Henry Ceases transmissions and de-orbits the Crux. Henry is celebrated as an Astronauts' hero and dies a martyr of some sort. Rest in Peace the crew of Crux-9. You served valiantly and proud. (2022-2030 will be apart of a different MR, "The Age of Exploration")

  4. The Lyra Program - Mini-chapter 1: Hermes The day has come, The Mars Lander, Turms will be launched for the Hermes Sample-return Mission, Turms is the Etruscan equivalent to Hermes, Making it a suitable name for the Lander "Liftoff of Turms." "Athena V is nominal", The Launching of Hermes also moved forward the date of the Crewed Mars Landing to 2026 and the Flyby Mission in 2024 with Recent Development, Crew Prospecting has also begun with a Group of Candidates getting picked for The Ares Program, Stage Seperation Nominal No EOI Screenies TMI (News Segment Below) "As the Turms Lander leaves for Mars, Hopefully this reminds us that this is in a Greater Step forward, one we took in 1969 when Neil Armstrong walked on the Moon, One we took in 1961 when Yuri Gagarin Orbited the Earth, December 24th 2026, We will launch the next great step." That announced the Launch date of Ares I Next Launch is the MASARE Orbiter (Mars Sample Return) on a Muo 541,
  5. (Just to note, Crux 3 - 6 were skipped for time problems and screenie problems, it is now 2018 and JUPO2 exists for info) The Lyra Program - Chapter 9 The Athena V towers the pad once again, Getting ready to launch 2 new ISS Modules, The USHab Module and The iSci Module This is the first Operational flight of the Athena V after V-Y EDS The Modules have been stacked for launch convenience Docking USHab Docked iSci 46 Days later is the launch of Crux-7 with Commander Mark Jacobs Crux 7 is docked Crux-6 Undocking Crux-6 De-orbiting Burn time! I mis-calculated the burn so now we are landing in Australia. A parachute did not fire but we still landed safely! The Next Launch will be LUCOS 1 (Lunar Communication System), A group of 4 Sats each launch to be put into Lunar Orbit to get ready for Crux 11, It will be launched on a Ghidorah 9 Block 2, It will be the Last Block 2 as Block 3 will attempt reusable. Overexpansion go brrrrr A Failure in Staging Makes LUCOS 1 Fail, LUCOS 2 can However fill the void Thank you for reading chapter 9!
  6. The Lyra Program - Chapter 8: Athena and Bagorah This will be an Extended Chapter and Will Feature a Few cool Missions (story time) In 2008, A Company known as Blue Origin springs up with a goal of Suborbital Tourism using the New Grissom Launch Vehicle, In 2014 they unveiled their plans for an Orbital Launch Vehicle, New Borman which will be a HLV. The Year is now 2015 and New Grissom is ready to launch... Flight 1 will be unmanned for the sakes of testing, However flight 4 will be crewed, The also other thing excluded is First Stage Recovery, Flight 2 will be the first attempt at a crewed landing *insert obligatory planetshine shot* burn baby burn After a rough landing, The New Grissom Capsule has landed. The Next Launch is TundraX's Bagorah 9 Nervous TundraX Eyes watch, If this fails NASA will cut off the contract, luckily Rendezvous wont be on this flight, but the stakes are still high Liftoff of the Bagorah 9! The Bagorah 9 is only a Test Version of the soon to be Ghidorah 9 which will be fully reusable planetshine moments First MVAC Firing After the Second MVAC Firing, A Vital Software Bug causes it to misfire after Gigan Seperation which caused Severe Damage to the Vehicle, It is believed the recovery system has been destroyed and the RCS Tanks Partially ruptured, The Mission is demanded to be deorbited as per TundraX Policies The next Launch is done by a Small Australian Company, Eris Space Exploration launching there Sunsis Rocket However due to Problems with the Flight Computer, FTS is activated and Sunsis Flight 1 is declared a failure. Now we fast forward onto 2016 and on the Pad is Athena V-Y The Athena V will be the Main Launch Vehicle for the Altair Lander and Crewed Mars Missions The Ground violently shakes as the Athena V Takes off, Commander of Future Moon Landing Lee Banks watches, knowing that will take him to the moon The Payload is a Test Inflatable Module which will be used for the Lunar Orbital Gateway Athena V-Y is a Success. Meanwhile at the North Pole, They are nearly finishing up on a Mars Simulation run with a Plane coming to collect them and thats it for Chapter 8!
