My modding efforts have been put to a halt because now Steam is being a jerk and making it that I cannot move anything out of KSP's Game Data folder. Whenever I try to copy+Paste or cut+paste a folder from Game Data into another folder, it ALWAYS says it's open in another window...when it's ALWAYS not. Also, I cannot delete anything in Game Data, because my computer claims I don't have permission....from MY COMPUTER.
@sal_vager Any idea was KSP's influence in this issue is?

Make sore you give yourself permission to modify the folder as well, or it won't work.

New info!
It's not KSP at all, it's Windows 10, you need to right click the folder and look for the permission to modify the folder and contents, if you don't have that you can't move files etc.

Windows 10? I keep hearing about this and always on Windows 10.
Check that no instances of KSP are running in the task manager, you could have zombie processes, also that you are the owner of all the files and folders you are trying to copy/move.
And try unlocker if the files are locked by another program.
After that, make sure you are not prevented from moving and copying files after a reboot, before starting KSP.
If you are then it may be a Windows security setting, this guide may help.
Testing on Linux shows no issue moving files from Steam.

The strict application of 2.2h on the Scale is illusion-thread was a surprise for me, since you guys have made e.g. the Trappist thread totm. If you look at what is written in the paper and the purpose of why the paper was written and compare it to the contents of the Trappist thread you get many more unproven claims and claims without factual basis than were in the Illusion thread. The error in the latter was merely that the op mixed up general cultural observations and natural science.
I would totally welcome a more strict and coherent application of 2.2h even if that hit me, but why the example ?

). The first thing is that thanks for your following, it‘s my pleasure that a Kerbal staff can follow a fans. The second thing is that I set up a public account about KSP on WeChat(the most famous new media platform in China) one years ago, which share some KSP guides , Chinese fan's craft and video , and translate KSP devnote into chinese to our fans. Because many Chinese fans can't read English, and Chinese Internet have government control which mean our fans can't watch video about KSP on Youtube and can't follow facebook or twitter of KSP, our fans only get KSP news from social media in China like Weibo, WeChat, TeiBa et..I don't know if SQUAD support our public account to share KSP knowledge or news to Chinese fans, and I hope we can get official permission. If SQUAD want to share some news to Chinese fans, our publish account can be the agent of SQUAD. The third thing is that thank to SQUAD for Chinese localization , many Chinese fans can’t wait to playing KSP in official Chinese edition, they often ask me when KSP localization pack will release in public account, and I just tell them that wait for SQUAD dev team news.
