What is your most facepalm-worthy moment regarding KSP?
Not Sure replied to MaverickSawyer's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Exactly! Didn't even think about it, brain was in autopilot mode and didn't check. -

That was my other thought, a limiter, but I dismissed it as the PC precise controls will still allow for full deflection, it's just not immediate. -

What is your most facepalm-worthy moment regarding KSP?
Not Sure replied to MaverickSawyer's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I have too many hours in this game, so when I did this I had the largest sigh, especially since I was playing without reverts. somehwere on ascent I was checking all my fuel levels and I accidentally clicked on a decoupler. I looked at the blue button that says “decouple” and I think “oh wow im glad I wouldn’t click that, would be very bad at this time.” Then my right hand just moved over and clicked the button without thinking. There goes my booster. -
I think that’s the scatterer god ray setting more than a unity shadow.

Two Quick Questions...
Not Sure replied to SR1200 THUNDER's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I’m trying to think about how that would work with a joystick. The longer you hold it the farther it deflects? What if you only pull it about 20%? Does it go farther than 20% or just take longer to get there? If you’re doing backflips from that, I think that’s a bigger problem regarding your plane, not the controller. -
That is true, and frustrating. But they have their reasons.

The version hierarchy is: Major, Minor, Patch. in 1.4.2, 1 is the major, 4 is the minor, and 2 is the patch. Most mods and utilities arent affected by patches.

about the launchpads and runways...
Not Sure replied to Dimas152's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Yea, I agree, but I had not started playing career until I had 500 hours in sandbox, hopefully people take a similar route and know how to overcome the inclination, there are multiple ways to do it. -

It would be amazing to have more launch sites and change the way you start in career. You have to buy the ground stations in order to get better coverage and I think starting off at a high latitude space center would be cool, then gradually move down to the equator or all over the place you see fit. -

How many [SPOILERS] per body?
Not Sure replied to KerikBalm's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I have to remind myself to try to fine a green meanie, but without KerbNet. A 5.5km polar Mun orbit can give a pretty good view, just need to slowly orbit a few hundred times... -

How many [SPOILERS] per body?
Not Sure replied to KerikBalm's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
So I’ve done some more reading and it turns out that anomaly detection refreshes every day. If your probe has a 30% chance of detecting anomalies then it will have a 30% each day. I wonder if it COMPLETLEY refreshes in that on one day you detected an anomaly but the next day the “?” is gone. -
How many [SPOILERS] per body?

Huh, I got that information from a Scott Manley video, so it’s only stuff I’ve heard. Will work on finding one later today. -
How many [SPOILERS] per body?

I’m also interested in using these in my career. I do know that they change positions on every SOI change. I’ve heard that there are about 2 per body. That is contradictory to the person above however, so maybe once they change positions, you can hunt them down again. Who knows, crazy how mysterious these things are for how old they are. -
Dissapearing ships?

If you cant see the squares marking debris or other vessels when in range, press f4. I dont think the max debris setting would delete new debris, i assumes it was the old. -
Im not going to be playing KSP until 1.4.3, or whenever the drag problems are fixed. This is embarrassing. With all this time between patches you assume they would playtest the game...

Two Quick Questions...
Not Sure replied to SR1200 THUNDER's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I don’t think the xbone even needs fine controls, it’s more for keyboard players so that the longer you hold a key, the more deflection. On a controller you can easily control the doflections based on how far you move the joystick. your yaw problem sounds like it’s in the landing gear. Make sure they are perpendicular to the body.
