  1. I would rather just upload my craft to KerbalX or OneDrive or something. Actually, I do that for all my files, since I'm paranoid about my computer getting stolen or somehow getting corrupted lol
  2. That Dreadnought of yours looks quite impressive Coincidentally, I also have a ship called 'Dreadnought' Main armament is seven Abrams Cannons and two intermediate-level goalkeepers for anti-aircraft defence. 5 smoke dispensers and four flare ones. The radiators can actually cool down the ship's damaged parts, though the armour is so abysmal that they're rarely effective. The advantage of thin armour is speed: top is 43 m/s, and turn rates are actually quite good. 100 parts. It'd be interesting to set up a match between my Dreadnought and your Battleship (since I doubt mine could take on your own Dreadnought without being completely trampled lol)
  3. They look great I'm going to start working on a gunship. I'll post it soon
  4. Are you referring to me, or...? Mine can handle around 300 parts, but with serious lag. Send some pics of your ships once you have them
  5. I just make my own storyline. In all honesty, most of them are along the lines of, "Once upon a time there was a planet infested with many dimwitted beings and only a few intelligent ones. One day, they...." You get the point
  6. Reading this thread has literally cheered me up lol But great ship. Puns.....um, yeah great puns too I guess. Some of them
  7. I just strap a few bombs (from BDAc) to the interior of the ship and activate them whenever I want a big explosion that will take out everything near the craft Not that it has happened. Totally didn't do forty-seven consecutive tests on various locations. Lies. All of them.
  8. Huh okay I didn't know that. I'll make some redesigns In the meantime..... Two of these per rocket
  9. Is there any particular advantage to them or something? I prefer the structural panels just based on looks. The colour of BD armoury's version looks funky to me
  10. EDIT: I just built what is definitely my best armoured vehicle so far: It can withstand up to six rockets from a hydra turret (three on each side): The above is after six direct hits. It might be able to withstand a seventh though, if the rocket hits the wheels or something However, the vehicle is unnamed. Any suggestions? Stats: Max speed is 125 m/s, and stability is excellent, along with durability (it can ram the VAB and destroy it without losing a single part). 90 parts
  11. It inspires me too, though perhaps not at the level that you seem to experience :P I'm glad to see that the game can have such a great influence on people
  12. Noice. Can't really say the same thing for mine.... At least not with time warp...
  13. Looks great Is it capable of flying straight up, or does the picture portray it in a momentary/controlled stall? Btw I just submitted some ships to the submissions thread, if anyone wants to check that out. I'll be adding some more craft to it over time. I'll post updates here.
  14. AXON ROBOTICS AXON ROBOTICS AXON Robotics was founded by a military lieutenant called Axel Kerman. At an early age, he managed to gather some loans from friends and banks, and started up a security company. Originally, the company only made one vehicle model – a truck-car-rover hybrid called Hound. Hound was quickly discontinued, however, and replaced by more advanced models. As time went by, the company grew, and eventually turned into one of the largest security providers on the continent. Due to the company’s ‘drones only’ rule, most of it’s employees are either engineers or scientists, and virtually none are certified pilots. Instead, the would-be pilots are professionally trained – cough cough – drone operators. There have been minor accusations that many are just video-gamers, but this has been furiously denied. The company has also been branded as ‘a corporation of cheapos.’ This would happen to be somewhat accurate, seeing as how the AXON has set itself a goal to make products that are small, cheap, and easy to manufacture. The maximum allowed part count for any craft is three hundred. This leads directly to the AXON’s combat strategy: swarms. The AXON fights in groups of small, lightly-armoured craft, and we hope that, despite the critics, they will prove their worth in battle. - Aurelius Kerman, newly appointed Head of the company ~ STRENGTH IN NUMBERS ~ AXON Robotics was originally founded by Axel Kerman. He believed that our goal should be to defend and protect. However, his assassination a few years ago led to his replacement. The new Head of the company has very different views, and has thus sided with GMI in this conflict. Most of us quit. Some were silenced. The rest stayed in the hopes of future change. -Dink Kerman, son of Axel Kerman I have read the rules and agree to them CRAFT Aerial Combat Naval Forces Ground Support Spacecraft
  15. Crap. Boss is totally gonna notice this one...
  16. I have an idea. You might not like it but that's fine, I'm just suggesting things So maybe start a thread where people can make 'custom battles' or something. Like maybe put a sort of budget in place (e.g, 100 parts) and everyone has to make a craft within that 100 part limit, and the craft has to have certain capabilities. Then you, as the coordinator, could have the participants send you photos and videos, which you would then post on YouTube. And it could be a community competition of sorts. I'd personally like to see a warship competition
  17. The kraken ate it I made a self-healing warship today (kind of) it can theoretically cool itself down if a plane ever strafes it's deck or something
  18. I redesigned the Destroyer from my previous post: I swapped a Millennium Cannon for an extra Abrams turret, and added radiators. Still 80 parts, but now, instead of moving at 35 m/s, she moves at... Turning is more or less the same, and as a plus, the ship is (kind of) self healing, since activating the radiators after a battle can cool down damaged parts. Only problem is that the radiators themselves are usually the parts that get hit, but.......ah well... Oh and sorry if I'm saturating this thread with my posts XD
  19. Ah. The Kerbal 'usually' survives. Sounds about right. Great craft though The cockpit, especially
  20. That's a bit high for my computer Has anyone done tests to see if large groups of small, lightly armed vehicles are more effective than the more heavy giants? EDIT: I was unable to make a stock version of the ground craft, or a Corvette I've been working on, but I managed to make this (pure stock, aside from BDAc): Armament: 1 x Abrams cannon, 3 x Millennium Cannons, and a Goalkeeper The engines have a tendency to be air-deprived at speeds below 10 m/s, but at max speed (35 m/s) they run fine. Turning speed is decent: 80 parts
  21. Is that the armour provided by BDA? And how many parts is it? Oh, and a question (to everyone): Most of my craft use Tweakscale for the wheels and some wing parts. Is that going to be a problem...?
  22. And here I am thinking my 900 ton lifter is big. Hm. Time to upgrade my computer...
