It's a RealScaleBoosters part.
Do you need to tweakscale it to make it compatible with BDB?

Love it. Although one thing that is lacking from almost all of the Russian Mods is a proper Block A Energia Booster. Complete with landing gear, chute and nosecone.
Maybe something to suggest on the Kerbal Reusability Expansion thread?

3.125 means Titan LDC tanks?????
Could it be the various tanks/nosecones needed for Titan 3L2???

Are the Vostok parts ever coming back?
They were picked up by @IronCretin and are looking better than ever

Thanks I'll give it a try and edit this post afterwards to tell you the results.

All of the parts in the mod look amazing, but I play in 6.4x and I have been screwing with the cfgs for a couple days now and I just cant get the shuttle to work in 6.4x scale.
In the OP there is a 2.5x rescale by yours truly. Combine this with SMURFF at full lever and it should have the delta-v you need

i kind of want to do a career using this, so are there any good mods that make career more practical for modded plays ?
Personally a big fan of this as a contract mod, basically a bit more detailed version of historical progression.
For early tech stuff I use Taerobee
Edit: ah Cobalt I see you're a man of culture as well
Exept thats not that surprising as you did make the aerobee

well they all seem to work in 1.3.1 EXCEPT for kopernicus which seems to not let me load my save files or something
Kopernicus is updated for 1.3.1 (it was actually updated again yesterday) but usually recommends starting a new save after update

Excellent! Can't wait to send Fobos there!

Lunokhod-1
There's a nice way to do that...
Lunokhod and other landers etc are mostly outside the scope of Tantares as is but @akron is actively developing Coatl with an excellent Venera Spacecraft/Lander that fits perfectly on Beale's Proton and he has even stated an intention to make Lunokhod down the line

I know..nuts question... KSP 1.1.3... the versions to use for this particluar release are Tantares 36.0 and Tantares LV 17.0?
I have my reasons, flawed as they are.
Every day we stray further from god

I love it! Excellent modelling, this will go excellently with the shiny new BDB Centaur parts

Beale I'm LOVING the new Tantares! Starting a Mir project and it wouldn't be possible without your awesome work
Is there roadmap plans for anything like the VBK-Raduga capsule used by the Progress?
23 hours ago, Beale said:Unfortunately no roadmap, I generally just do whatever I like at the moment. Raduga is probably out of scope at the moment, but who knows in future?
In the meantime, the payload return capsule by @CobaltWolf fills a similar role

Interesting, but why are there rudders on the side and it has jet engines unlike the real Space Shuttle?
1It's the proposed Block II Shuttle modified with Jet engines, but why it's strapped to a filthy Kommunist rocket I have no clue

Ah, mistakes were made. I may need @Galileo's help here (2.5/other rescales for ssrss Galileo)
-

I know you've been bombarded lately it seems, but where/how does one scale up SSRSS?
SSRSS has a config file for Sigma Dimensions (which is required for SSRSS anyway)
Replace the first lines of the config with this should resize the system
@SigmaDimensions { // Base Settings @Resize = 2.5 @Rescale = 2.5 @Atmosphere = 1.1 @dayLengthMultiplier = 1.25 // Advanced Settings @landscape = 0.76

Ooph, we should have made @IronCretin 's service adapter a Dynasoar>1.5m adapter and then included an extra 1.5m > 1.875m adapter to go under it... too late I suppose.
There's a Gemini 1.5-1.875m adapter in BDB isn't there?

The Dynasoar flight plan at time of cancellation called for several suborbital test launches on Titan 1/2, with those types of wings added for stability. The operational orbital launches would have used Titan IIIC, and would not have had wings because the overall design of the stack and the thrust vectoring of the SRBs being sufficient to control it until atmospheric forces were manageable.
Grazie Wolfy, this picture cleared it up for me (visual thinker and all that)

What scale factor?
Beautiful Cobalt, very coppery
Are there plans to do Atlas V SRBs or would that be another job for RSB?
