  1. Mods have shown up for a good reason. We can Either turn the convo around or end it... .
  2. @p1t1o lol. Fank yew... I wouldn't make that joke if I wasn't 1/2 English. Same reason they tried to avoid the term gold "rush"... Slow down... its just water after that... Haha my grandfather used to get angry* when his dad said "warsh"... We stopped saying warsh the same time we stopped saying "farty 40" before I was even born. Some of the other old folks also used to say "mun-dee tues-dee whens-dee thurs-dee fry-dee" We just don't anymore word Word.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9ZwpC5VSBw I can't argue this [snip]
  3. Sorry, I'm not familiar. There are options for "camera wobble" (or something like that) in the settings. Might be worth it to try adjusting those.
  4. Wall Of Text. Sorry for the rant. This morning, I happened across the video below while surfing YouTube. The channel is Buzzfeed and the people on it are mostly from/on the west coast. The video is them reacting to people from other countries doing American accents. Yes, the foreign guys and gals (I can forgive them) are doing mostly stereotypical accents of Americans, but the problem I have lies with the people reacting. When the "reactors" start talking about how Midwest accents sound, they get it so wrong that it genuinely angers me. The accent they claim to be "Midwest" is actually (almost exclusively) only heard in northernmost Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin and even then, it's relatively rare. I'm also fairly certain Canadians would agree that the whole "about sounds like a-boot" thing is not very common and is mostly stereotypical. This helps confirm my assumption that (not all but many of) the Americans living on the east and west coasts have NO *expletive* CLUE about the states they call "flyovers". I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri which is arguably the start of the Midwest (i.e. "Gateway to the West" "The Gateway Arch") and I can confidently tell you without a shadow of a doubt that nobody in Missouri sounds like that unless they or their parents originated elsewhere. Last I checked, Nelly does not sound like he just walked off the set of Fargo (his mother used to live behind my grandma in Chadwyck Subdivision #namedrop). Furthermore, if I'm not mistaken*, the accent in areas such as Chicago and St. Louis are beginning to show similarities to a Northeastern dialect; a phenomenon referred to as the NCVS (Northern Cities Vowel Shift NCVS Examples St. Louis corridor). Moreover, many newscasters train themselves to speak with a "Midwest accent" do to the Midwest generally lacking an accent altogether (Quote: "General American" has often been considered to be the relatively unmarked speech of "the Midwest") A video of a bunch of bubble dwelling Hollywood types normally wouldn't turn me into such a whiny opinionated crybaby, but this video just got on my bad side for some reason. It's also worth mentioning that, generally speaking, I don't have a major issue with stereotypes for the most part. THE VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8QbaCIskM0&feature=youtu.be
  5. @Fireheart318 I've seen this before and from what I can tell it has to do with the camera following the root part or the pod with kerbals in it. If that part gets thrown/spun violently after a crash, the camera experiences similar effects while trying to track/follow it. I could be completely wrong but having had this problem myself, it's just my best guess.
  6. @Rofl47 Found this with a google search. Might be what you're looking for(?) http://westechsolutions.net/sites/WindowedBorderlessGaming/ EDIT: Oh sorry. You said, "without having to use borderless windows". I don't think I understand your question.
  7. @danielchristensen Is it completely gone or is it showing zero deltaV? Welcome to The Forum
  8. Cheers, man. I'm glad that helped. I had always assumed it was the decoupler that created the shroud so thank you for clearing that up.
  9. @bigguy4u When I forget to add something, I use KIS/KAS, build a quick "repair craft" then fly the parts to the ship that needs them and attach them in-situ. This way you don't need to turn off any gameplay mechanics. Also, I'll typically use F12 to cheat a bit and rendezvous the repair craft with the missing parts craft to speed things up. If you do this method without using the debug menu, you have solved your problem completely legitimately but no one is going to fault you for using a cheat for timesaving purposes in this case.
  10. @Edkopik If you see a "checkmark" in the contract but the contract hasn't been completed, you might need to return the tourist to kerbin to complete the contract. Also, make sure you have the correct tourists aboard for that contract. Like @sal_vager said, we can't help much until we know a bit more. Welcome to The Forum
  11. @LordFerret Maybe(?) It has something to do with the grabber. You actually don't "need" a fairing there. I have noticed, when placing a decoupler directly on a heat shield there are 2 attach nodes. I.e. you can attach the decoupler directly to the shield or slightly under it (if slightly under it will create a "fairing"). To see what I'm talking about, go to VAB, add a pod with a shield, grab a decoupler and you will notice there are 2 ways to attach it to the bottom of the shield. To fix: Try attaching the decoupler "directly" to the heat shield so that it doesn't create a fairing
  12. This makes the mod so much better btw. I assume you're trying to connect the same type of port (eg. 2 junior ports). Are you using the covered ones? Make sure they're open if so. Are the ports set back into the part they are attached to (if you used the move part tool in VAB). Are they put on backwards? (It happens). Make sure there are no hidden/hard to see struts etc. in the way. Make sure to set the correct port as your target and turn off SAS when close to docking. Posting pictures will greatly Increase the odds of us helping you solve this.
  13. @ajud Konstruction is a decent alternative if you can't get it to work or while you wait for another update.
  14. I have had the same thing happen to me before. Go to your picture on imgur and right click the photo then select "copy image address". On the forum, click "Insert other media" and "Insert image from URL" then paste. I'm not sure why it turns red sometimes but just keep trying and it should work.
  15. @HighWind Welcome to The Forum Now that I have replied, you should see a blue "quote" link at the bottom of my comment. Click it to reply. Or you can type the users name (like I did at the top) by typing "@" then type/select the desired name from the drop menu that appears. It will look like this @Gianni1122. Or you can highlight a portion of someones comment and a black "Quote This" will pop up (bellow is what this method will look like) P.S. Your English is very good and easy to understand. You only had a couple of mistakes. Here is what your comment might look like in English: Hello! I'm HighWind. I'm new here so I think I have to introduce myself. I really like science (I especially like Physics) I have been playing this game since March 2015 (version 1.0.5), but I am not good at flying airplanes and landing. (And English) Anyway, I hope I can land on another planet in 2017! Cheers! I Hope this helps
  16. Just a bit of trivia, those orange suits you see astronauts wearing are called ACES (Advanced Crew Escape Suits) and they are only worn during escape and reentry. The white suit is an EMU (Extravehicular Mobility Unit) and is what is used during EVA. On the ISS they wear either the blue flight suit or just a shirt with cargo pants often with velcro for a kneeboard. They have considered using the ACES for some EVAs but haven't yet as far as I know. ACES EMU Flight Suit Pants with kneeboard etc.
  17. @Alphard Like @techgamer17 said, Cacteye is a good one. There is also Tarsier and I think Hullcam VDS has a telescope. DMagic also has telescopes. I recommend using ProbesPlus with DMagic (not required)
  18. I only took a quick look but it seems like @raidernick is maintaining it (the latest GitHub release is by him). Your best bet is to browse the FASA forum thread for an answer then, if you don't find an answer to your question, you should ask your question on that thread.
  19. @michal.don Check out TweakScale. It won't change capacity of pods but it can certainly help make a lot of things "fit nicely".
  20. @wolowizzard666 If it is a bad interaction with a mod, I personally can't help (mechjeb is the only one we have in common). But if those are your only mods, it doesn't seem like those would cause this issue. Some things you might try: -In the settings menu turn on "advanced tweakables" then when right clicking on various parts you should see an option for "rigid attachment". -In the debug F12 menu there is are options for part clipping, unbreakable joints and non-strict part attachment. -Maybe try using something other than the structural beams (the four larger ones) or put the 4 ports directly onto the cupola module. -You could use KIS/KAS to attach the solar arms directly without using docking ports. You could also use this mod to add struts while in orbit. *this may actually be the best solution since struts might just fix the problem.
  21. @dragonaether Try removing RasterPropMonitor (JSI). Does this help?
  22. @jrolson I use KSP SXT to make a good seaplane P.S. If you only want to improve the one you have already made without using mods, we'll need to see screenshots of your plane to help you.
  23. That was my bad. I didn't scroll up far enough. I'll edit. Cheers EDIT: lol nvm I guess it won't let me change the name
  24. @RA3236 Have you looked at Chatterer? I think you can add your own sounds. It might be worth a look.
