  1. oh my god i was a cringe ass teen

  2. KSP is starting to lose the right to it's good reputation. There's been a huge lack of any real development on the game and people I knew that loved and played it all the time have forgotten it even exists. This NASA thing they're making will be good PR but it's hardly helping the game.
  3. This is a horrible mentality to have, the fact that it's coming from a mod is worse. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but some of the best developers are also the most open and transparent ones. -snip-
  4. There has been plenty of constructive criticism. And I hardly see how saying "I don't like this" is going to hurt if we're a minority.
  5. This game was driven by it's community, if it didn't get a community it would have been another dead unity project. I don't think we should just blindly accept anything they do as if everything they say is god's rule. We put them where they are and we're within our right to be upset, if you want to ignore the slippery slope then have fun. I'd rather let them know that they didn't make a good choice.
  6. If they want to keep and expand their userbase I think it'd be wise to not alienate or ignore them. It's really as simple as that. They don't need to take everything we say to heart but if the majority of their userbase disagrees with a decision then it was probably a bad decision.
  7. That's a good point. Multiplayer will just be more than one person having nothing to do. Sure you can make a station or something, but to what end?
  8. If moderators want to clear any anger or confusion, simply request that Harv or someone from the dev team explain the decision in-depth.
  9. The problem is, this game was brought to life by it's community. And the dev team of all people know what one person finds fun isn't the same as another. I'm certain for every person on the team that found resources unfun there's at least 50 people in the community who would have loved it. They shouldn't be throwing out semi-finished ideas on the basis of the opinion of a few people, even if they're devs.
  10. Regardless of what change in difficulty resources would have brought, if you don't want a challenge you probably shouldn't be doing career mode to begin with. If you just wanted to build ships and explore that's what sandbox is for.
  11. While you're welcome to your opinion, I have to argue that there isn't really a link between resources and colonization. They're more of a tool for exploration than anything.
  12. Because resources have been a planned and partially implemented feature for at least a year now. And please, don't even try to give me the "nothing is final" garbage. While I accept nothing is 100% set in stone, this was something teased and promised and worked on for far too long to drop immediately for a feature that's arguably unimportant.
  13. Multiplayer is fine and well but deciding to jam it into the game half way through development is a horrible decision. They talked about wanting to focus on core mechanics many months ago and it feels like they totally forgot what the core even was. "It's an alpha" is not an insta-fix excuse. Poor design and structure in ANYTHING during it's construction is totally unacceptable. Just because it's being made doesn't excuse it from being lazy and horribly unrefined, especially when they claim the gaps in update releases are to refine the game to the highest quality.
