  1. Like the CE-1 mission, the ascender had done all of its job, so they crashed it to keep the clearance of near Lunar space as they said.
  2. Official confirmed that the Ascender had intentionally crashed on around Lan 30°S, Lon 0° at UTC 23:30, Dec 7th.
  3. more clear footage of how the sample can transfer to reentry module Sample can requires to travel 630 mm distance from ascender to reentry module. To reduce the length of transfer mechanisms, the whole transfer mechanism includes two pairs of pawls (gif shows one of them, another one is located between docking mechanism and ascender ) and gears on sample can which formed a ratchet device. It take 4 rounds of push-and-back operation to transfer the sample can into the reentry module in around 10 mins.
  4. A 4 minutes video about maneuvering, docking, capturing, sample transfer and hatch sealing. And about two hours ago the ascender and docking mechanism just seperated from orbitor
  5. The Ascender may have extra mission due to fuel redundancy from excellent ascending and docking performance
  6. Ascender and Docking Mechanism estimated seperate from Orbitor at 4:35 Dec 6th UTC
  7. CNSA release photo of national flag on moon and another wide-angle image of sampling area where you can see the traces of sampling. Original Image: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qxYexcrementszC3iwrk4v4nplGbpDXwtMJkBy/view?usp=sharing (7500x4053)
  8. Official confirmed CE-5 Ascender successfully enter the Lunar orbit, solar panel extended
  9. After 19 hrs of sampling, the lunar sample had been sealed and loaded on the ascender which is going to launch at 23:10, Dec 3rd, UTC+8
  10. HD wide-angle image around the sampling area Original Image: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pV342HnkdlxGRWHQ3Pc_wnq5GPjsP42u/view?usp=sharing (15000x7947) Sauce: CNSA
  11. Chang'e - 5 mission team utilized terrain data from radar of CE-5 Lander and AR technology to reshape the terrain of sampling area to perform 1:1 simulation on earth with less than 20mm error full video: https://weibo.com/tv/show/1034:4577711927263234?from=old_pc_videoshow
