  1. As I said in the first post, this bug is present both on 1.8 and 1.9. And you're right, Squad don't care about the Linux version, I'm already playing this game only on Windows, even though I almost never use Windows... Anyway, I was waiting for confirmation before creating a bug report on this, hope they fix it in the next version. Later I'll edit this post with the link. Edit: https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/24907
  2. No, I don't mean any of these, you got me wrong My issue is that, when I restart my game, the textures of Kerbin decreases quality (goes from Full Res to Half Res), but only visually, the settings menu don't change. When I said that the settings.cfg might not be updating was a pure guess. In fact I previously discarded this guess by comparing my Windows and Linux versions of the file. Try this: set your texture quality to Full Res (or, if it's already at Full Res, just enter settings and click "accept" to force the change of quality visually), look at the textures of Kerbin in start menu screen (take a picture of it), then restart your game and compare it with the pic you took previously.
  3. On Windows I also have TEXTURE_QUALITY = 0 and this issue doesn't happen. In fact, I performed a diff between my settings.cfg on Windows and Linux and the only differences are related to keyboard shortcuts. Quite strange... Do you also see the same bug on your game?
  4. It's not only that part that is bad. Look at the pics in this post. On Windows it's much better.
  5. This is the start menu screen of my game at current graphical settings (everything related to textures are maxed out), look at the Kerbin textures in the background: https://i.imgur.com/BTNSTIu.jpg Then I open the settings menu and click "accept" without changing anything. This is the result (the texture quality is much higher): https://i.imgur.com/3WntmQt.jpg After that, I restart the game and the textures returns to look the same as the first picture. I guess that some graphical option is not being updated in the settings.cfg file (despite being applied to the running game), but I don't know which one. I compared this file before and after restarting and clicking "accept" but nothing is changed. This was happening on 1.8.1 and it's still happening on 1.9. Anyone with Linux confirm this bug? 6. Yes, but I just discovered that it's not exclusive to Nvidia cards. I was talking about this with someone on reddit and he confirmed the issue (running on integrated graphics).
  7. According to this guy running the game on integrated graphics on Linux, he also have the same problem. So I think we can safely say it's not exclusive to Nvidia cards.
  8. Haven't noticed this before, but now that I saw your topic I can confirm it's also happening here, and it's even worse when you look Kerbin from close (i.e. from a vessel at low orbit). Sorry for another unhelpful post, as I have no idea what's causing this, but I bet it has the same cause as the blurry textures.
  9. Thanks for reporting, just left my up vote. Hope this gets fixed soon...
  10. I'm having the same problem on Manjaro, and it's only happening after the 1.8.x version of the game (haven't tested on 1.8.0 so I'm not sure which one exactly). Do you use a Nvidia card?
  11. Guess I was mistaken... I just remembered that you need to right click the explosive with a kerbonaut on focus, I'm right? I was clicking with the vessel on focus thinking it would work... I've been some time away from KSP, this made me forgot the little details, sorry for the trouble
  12. The explosive charge is not working for me, when I right click on it nothing happens. I only tested attaching this part on the vessel using the VAB, as I remember it used to work this way... but later I will use a kerbonaut to see if this still happens. I'm still on v1.13. I will download 1.14 later but it seems the update is not related to this bug, right? Here's my log: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cUotVnM9j_qqW9wYRGzqkthbOrIvFXkj/view?usp=sharing Thanks!
  13. I agree with you, but then why the CoL stays near the pod while my craft gets bigger (before the wings were added)? I'm guessing that just a few body parts are producing drag now, but that doesn't seem right to me... Edit: Forgot to tell... I launched a rocket similar to the one in the OP and it felt a little less stable then my commom rockets on 1.2.2 (for example, the one with the CoL marker placed at the far bottom), so maybe it's not just a change in VAB marker...
  14. Hi. First time creating a thread here so let me know if I made anything wrong. After the 1.3 KSP update I'm experiencing a strange thing happening with the Center of Lift marker on the VAB, but I wanted confirm if it's really a bug and discuss this problem with others before submitting it to bug report. Here is what happens: as soon as I start building my craft the CoL immediately appears below the CoM. Not exactly a problem yet, but as I remember on 1.2.2 the CoL used to start on the floor and only appear after a wing was added. As I'm adding new parts the CoM is going down but the CoL stays in the same place: When I finally add winglets at the bottom the CoL goes down, but not as much as it should be (before the last update): Incredibly, adding a parachute and a hetshield at the top of the craft makes the CoL move even higher: I also noticed that loading a craft made on 1.2.2 in the VAB puts the CoL in the right place: Probably some parts are producing drag on 1.3, and they weren't before, but the question is: it's expected? Do I need to change the design of my rockets to make them stable again? I didn't saw anything related to drag or CoL on the changelog... If it helps, here's a list of my mods: [x] Science! 15. Thanks for making it clear. Guess I'll have to get used to it...
  16. There's nothing to do about it then? It's not a issue that would drive me crazy, but I must confess that this walking looks very weird to me in-game.
  17. Here it is. The first Kerbal shown is the one with stuff on his back, and the second is the one with empty inventory. Below I show the itens inside Helca's inventory.
  18. I have two Kerbals on the Mun and I noticed that the one carrying stuff in his inventory walks weirdly on the surface, like playing a movie at 2x fast foward, while the other with nothing in inventory walks normally. I also noticed that this bug was worse before one of the two recent updates (I skipped 1.4.4) or the last KSP update, because back then the walks had also a little stuttering together. Has anyone else experienced this?
  19. Now it's a little better, but I think it's still not how it was supposed to be (or is that brighter Sun from scatterer?)
  20. First time using this mod along with SVE without scatterer (that thing is too heavy). Unfortunately, my Sun is looking like this: Tried installing scatterer just to be sure and noticed something a little weird: firstly I went to the Tracking Station and the Sun was exactly the same, then I loaded one of my crafts and suddenly the textures appeared like they're supposed to. But sadly my PC can't stand scatterer, so anyone have a clue how to fix this? Thanks!
