I'm currently trying to do this by removing the ModuleResourceConverter modules and creating my own versions with the new values. However, this line: !MODULE[ModuleResourceConverter] { } only seems to delete the first ModuleResourceConverter module, and leaves the others, so I get duplicate nodes with different values. I'm sure it's just a syntax thing, but how do I make this line affect all ModuleResourceConverter nodes? Probably something with wildcards* or HAS blocks, but the instructions in the Module Manager github wiki aren't very clear to me on how to use these. Halp, plz. Edit: I got it to work by adding extra lines of !MODULE[ModuleResourceConverter]{} for each stock node, but this feels really kludgy. Alternatively, I know you can use @MODULE to modify nodes, rather than replace them, but I still run into the problem of differentiating between different modules with the same ModuleResourceConverter name, specifically in regards to how to refer to OUTPUT_RESOURCEs of different types so I can change the Ratio, etc.

Edit: Actually, the ocean texture does seem to load in. Or at least, it looks like it does. I don't have it in any of the screenshots, but I passed through what appeared to be the ocean on my way down. Like, I thought I was about to crash into the surface of the ocean, and then I passed right through. If I zoom out from where I am, I can see the surface of the ocean above me, and it looks like I'm deep underwater. It's as if the radius of the planet's texture doesn't match the collision. The atmosphere at the altitude of the apparent ocean was extremely thin (which is why I thought I was going to crash--it didn't slow me down enough for my parachutes to deploy by the time I hit). After I passed through, the air got thicker, and I landed like normal (with parachutes), except onto an invisible ocean layer. Maybe there's multiple layers of LOD textures, and I never transitioned between the distant one and the closer, more detailed one, but I definitely saw an "ocean" on the way down.
  4. So I landed on Fust, and then this happened: It would appear that the radius of the graphics and the radius of the actual terrain do not match up. I'm wondering if this is some known bug that has some easy fix I'm not aware of... Or maybe I should test some of the other planets and see if it happens elsewhere? I have OPM and Planetshine, but otherwise no graphical enhancements (EVE, etc.). I do have other mods, though. If you'd like more information, let me know. (It really felt like falling into an alien trap! The ocean was an illusion, and the terrain underneath was a barren wasteland! XD)

It seems that by turning off Experience, everyone gets all SAS modes, even probes. But turn it on (so that Kerbals have to level up), and everything works as intended. I don't remember this behavior before, and it really changes how I choose my difficulty settings...
  6. I tried searching google and the forums for this, but couldn't find anything, so here goes. Everything seems to have full SAS. I noticed it with the Stayputnik, and now Bill (a non-pilot) in a lander can. I'm running a 100% stock game, freshly downloaded from Steam. I'm using 1.4.2 + Making History DLC. If I start a new sandbox game, open the VAB, add a single Stayputnik and then launch, I can activate SAS and can select all retrograde, radial, normal, etc. headings. The Stayputnik still doesn't have a reaction wheel, however. It also seems to happen on previous game versions, including my theoretically untouched 1.2 folder that I set aside before updating to 1.4, my heavily modded folder, Is there some kind of setting saved elsewhere (such as Documents or the registry--PlayerPrefs come to mind) that I'm just missing that could cause this? I've never seen this happen before, and am very surprised it happens across installs. Am I missing something obvious, or is this a bug? Edit: Currently downloading 1.2 to see if it happens there, but I'm getting tired and might not check back here until later.

  8. Hi. First time poster. Is it possible to successfully "Track Bodies" without using the "aim at target" SAS? I made a simple probe satellite with the telescope on it and aimed it in the direction of Minmus, and clicked on Track Bodies until I ran out of electrical charge (1600+) multiple times, and never discovered anything. The thing is, I tried something similar in Sandbox, and discovered everything halfway across the system (stock and OPM planets) without targeting anything, just clicking a few times. I didn't use target tracking SAS, because I only have the Octo 1 unlocked. When I started, I set the initial difficulty to the hardest, and I do have a bunch of mods installed. Does Research Bodies depend on the contract system for discoveries? I did recently install Contract Configurator and also Tarsier Space Tech... I must say, I'm not a huge fan of the random discovery chance mechanic. I feel like the telescope should have a camera function so you can actually see what you're trying to aim at and have a chance of seeing how close you are, and then you just discover it if you get it within view. I tried using Cacteye, but the gui didn't work, and I guess Tarsier's telescopes are farther up the tech tree. Sorry, I'm just ranting, now. Overall, I think the mod is pretty cool. EDIT: Okay, I'm pointed straight at Minmus in Sandbox, and I can't discover it. As a test, I aimed in a random direction, and found Urlum, Wal, and Tal, no targeting, no real aiming. Setting still at hardest, and still using TB-75M Telescope. Is Minmus bugged?
