  1. Step 1: put a satellite in Kerb-o-synchronous (geostationary/geosynchronous) equatorial orbit. Step 2: once in desired orbit, push 'V' until in "chase camera". Step 3: play your favorite space themed ambience music. Step 4: push F2. Step 5: profit. Working on putting a little video together to share here shortly. It's times like these that remind me how much I appreciate this game and its developers. 400+ hours deep and it's the little things.
  2. A low center of mass prevents inadvertent rolling and ensures the rocket stays straight/aligned with prograde during ascent. Not necessarily as low as the motors/fins, so I guess I could have worded it better. OP didn't provide screenshots so I threw it out there in case the CoM was high enough to make the rocket oscillate/roll/flip.
  3. The best thing without a screenshot I can suggest is to make sure your CoM is as low as you can get it. Adding a set of 3 or 4 fins to the bottom that are slightly angled create the best spin-stabilization I've come across. If you hold Shift+W or Shift+S to move the fins just once, that'll be your best bet. Hope this helps. Edit: If one set of fins at the bottom doesn't work, you can try adding a set of fins for each stage angled the same way.
  4. Use TweakScale or the smallest stock parts to make micro-satellites. Especially when you create a mothership that has multiple "drones" symmetrically attached that drop off at different points in orbit. I've found that method to be more efficient in science gathering with a single launch, even. Also because aesthetics.
  5. Never had any desire to use BDArmoury or anything military related. I like to think Kerbals are a peaceful species and are more focused on exploration, not malevolent destruction.

    Hello

Good afternoon everyone. Long time player/forum lurker, first time poster. Just recently got back into the game after a few months hiatus. Can't wait to share some screenshots with everyone! Safe travels, and blessings to the Kraken.
