How do you install this mod correctly? I installed in game data but the parts don't show up in the game

Whenever I try to make a ship and save it or launch it the menu freezes up. I can't launch or save.

Whenever I try to save my game manually I cannot is their a bug I do not know about. Like clicking on the save button does nothing no matter how many times I tried. Eventually I try to switch to another shuttle,plane, etc but I can't I'm locked on the unit I controlled first
