How do you produce Ksteam? I've tried launching the boat but the engines wont work because i have none??

So I'm running KSP on a new windows 10 (8 gigs of RAM), and I pulled up my task manager during launch to see what the heck was going on. Turns out, my CPU was getting overloaded, so i quickly ended some extraneous tasks and it loaded a little bit farther, up to 'Basethreadinitthunk' and crashed again. This problem started when I tried to add BDarmory, but I don't really have that many mods installed.
