Quick question: what need more Delta-v - getting a high altitude orbital capture around Moho, or a low altitude capture?

Sorry I haven’t been active these last two weeks. I’ve been kinda consumed with a search for potential exoplanets within K2 Campaign 14. So far I’ve found dozens of likely planets, from molten worlds orbiting in less than one day to various others taking many weeks to orbit their stars. One planet candidate could have a ring system! I’ve been so busy with this search that I actually went TEN DAYS without KSP, which on this forum is essentially treason. 

I have even more good news: the EE-1 system from Exoplanet Explorers has been confirmed as K2-138. The original four planets, plus a fifth inner Super-Earth, were confirmed, while a likely sixth candidate was spotted. Based on analyses by me, Vidar87, shutcheon, and zoo3hans (from Planet Hunters), there could be as many as eight or nine total planets in the system, all orbiting closer to their sun than Mercury does to ours. Two of those candidates actually share an orbit, and are Trojan Planets to each other. 

I want to grow algea for some reason. I live below sea level so there are plenty of ponds where i can collect it from, oh and the water level is extraordinarily high.

There's a new naming campaign, this time for 2014 MU69, the next target of the New Horizons mission. Based on the votes so far it seems like MU69 may get nicknamed after Thor's hammer.

I've finished the loose outline and character bios for my superhero novel that I'll be doing in November.

It's called The Shadowmasters, and as a start, I also finished the 1st chapter, would you guys like to see it? Very early version though, some of it needs to be expanded.

Blurb: 

In the early 2020s, a biotech company seeks out 4 people to test their new technology on. Yuuto, a teenaged vigilante, Reese, a gifted athlete, Tyrone, a hard working student, and Nolan, a science major.

The 4 of them are brought to the company, and given unique abilities, with Yuuto leading them. But after a failed mission which ended with civilians getting killed, Yuuto must get the team properly trained after he finds out about a plot that could kill hundreds.

Is there anyone with really good Scatterer experience that can help me out? I'm trying to get Scatterer ocean effects for Iona (EPIC 212525618 b), Eve, Kerbin, and Laythe, atmospheric effects for Iona, Eve, Duna, Kerbin, Laythe, and Jool. and sun flare effects for Kerbol and EPIC 212525618. However, no effects would load, and my game began acting very weird. Half of Iona was lit by its star while the other half was illuminated by Kerbol. Then, out of the blue, the game started lagging VERY bad and I had to force-quit it. Anyone know how to fix this? (Send me a PM if you can help)

In other news, I just found out that India and Vietnam are likely to get hit with Category 5 super typhoons next week. Damn.

55 Cancri e (Janssen) has a rather thick atmosphere, with a surface pressure of 1.4 bars - equivalent to 1.38 Earth atmospheres. This rules out any models of this thing being a volatile-rich planet, as it would likely have a much thicker atmosphere.

Does anyone remember my really old mod, the Othrys Planet Pack? If you don't...that's expected. I stopped working on it nearly 2 years ago. However, I've been recently considering a redo of the mod, which I would start after IA-Revived 1.3, Upsilon Kandromedae*, and the Exoplanet Explorers pack are released or almost finished. Here are the features that I will likely be implementing: 

-All the new planets will orbit around a white dwarf called Othrys. 

-The original planet Othrys will be renamed Othrys Prime. 

-Almost all the objects and ideas from the original mod will be transferred over. 

-Several life-supporting planets and moons. 

-Possibly a distant red dwarf. 

*The first version of UK is 99% finished. Just have to wrap a few things up before release. 

I like how in Russian Uranus is Uran (Уран) And it is also spelled just like uranium (Уран)

So yeah, while you laugh at Uranus, you better be aware of his slavic brother.
