Do you know whether swapping the biomes for EVA/crew reports is compatible with Crowd-Sourced Science?

You might want to check out the Clever Sats contract pack by @severedsolo. Not sure if it's working with 1.3 or not because my career save is still on 1.2.2, but it's a contract pack so it probably is fine. But yeah, it'd be nice if it was stock. Gets annoying if you don't wanna decline it because of the rep loss and have to see the proposed orbit in your tracking station until it expires. I think the checkbox would be the best approach; could be nice for stations as well if you don't want upgrade contracts involving them.

I like to do loosely-themed names around real-life geography or locations with some variation off to other things, e.g. in my current game I did a Russian theme with Kursk Station (city), Volga Station (river), and Laika Station (space dog). Maybe pick out some memorable words or phrases from your favorite songs and use those? Or characters and places from a favorite book.

I have a couple pieces of launchers buzzing around within the atmosphere, mostly around 50km or so, but one of them's at something like 26km which apparently is still too low-pressure for it to unload. So now when I'm sitting on the launchpad I sometimes see their shadows whizzing past.

This was supposed to take four orange tanks to LKO, but the high thrust and signficant angle to prograde caused the fairings to smash away two tanks when I opened them:

I've been reading the Mars trilogy; just started the second one recently. Red Mars is now one of my favorite books and I'm liking Green so far as well. I've heard people sometimes find Green and Blue Mars to be a slog because it changes focus more to political stuff, but so far it feels like it follows on pretty naturally.
