  1. Hi, first of all thanks for this workaround. I made the proposed changes and the screen messages did indeed stop spamming my message log. However, I've now warped forward over 100 days and haven't received any notification anymore, which is a problem because I accepted the "collect 50% surface deployed science" contract. Can this have happened because the probe had no connection at the time it was supposed to transmit or did I maybe break sth? Thanks in advance.
  2. Sorry for digging this up, but I ran into the same issue (probe, energy fine, connected) of not being able to remove or even highlight an existing node. What did the trick for me was to switch to the space centre, go into the tracking station and selecting the probe from there. When I was back in control I was able to remove the node. Maybe this helps others in the future.
  3. Right, I played around with those tools a little more and they are very handy indeed. (Whu would have guessed ) The rotation tool is briefly mentioned in one of the tutorials, but for aligning a craft pre launch. So I never really looked into those till now. But they surely make balancing your stuff a whole lot easier. Also had a look at your craft gallery, some nice layouts in there. Took some inspirations for airplane designs. Cheers
  4. Hi guys, and thanks for the quick responses. That was exactly what I was looking for, this opens up a whole new set of opportunities. So I'm off to build me some nice offset components. Thanks again and see you later. Cheers
  5. Hi to all the Kerbonauts on this forum. Not really a newbie, but after some time I gave KSP a second try and got properly hooked. I guess y'all know what I'm talking about. What I'd like to know (cause I can't find that info anywhere or maybe I just don't know the correct wording) is whether it's possible to join tanks the way they are joined in the "To the Mun I" training scenario? In that you start out with a rocket that has two tanks overlapping or clipping into a third (centre) one. Is it possible to do the same in the vanilla game, and if so, how? Thanks in advance. Cheers
