  1. I'm afraid I didn't, I was quoting your comment because I have the same issue, and because someone had replied to you trying say it's normal to have red clouds at night. Which it certainly isn't. I said I uninstalled AVP and installed default EVE configs to be certain it was this mod that was causing the problem. Mod's brilliant anyway so I'm not all that bothered.
  2. Where has this mod been all my life? Really I had one simple need: To delete that infuriating jazzy riff from the Construction scenes! Thanks to this mod I isolated and removed the offending track - KSP_Construction02. Beforehand I was having to turn music on and off because I love ambient tracks in space. Major appreciation for updating it! PS: I've been wanting to try my hand at modding KSP myself, would you be able to direct me to an up-to-date guide on getting started?
  3. It's just the current version of AVP with 4k textures. If you mean the plain EVE configs they're easily accessible through this website or the mod manager but you have to uninstall AVP.
  4. I'm getting the same thing. Clouds at the KSC are red at midnight. In the early morning and late evening, yes. At midnight - that's not right. I tried plain EVE configs and the problem is resolved. They also appear red during the daytime on the main menu but that's fixed once in-game. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. 5. Thought I would comment to say that I am having the same problem repeatedly, both with and without mods installed. "D3D11: Failed to create RenderTexture ... error 0x887a0005" is the output in Player.log. I'll try reducing graphics settings to see if it fixes things.
  6. Really nice mod, thank you very much @Ven. Is there a version without all the extra parts? I prefer just having the vanilla selection.
  7. Thank you for the reply. I've just gone back to default EVE configs for now. Is it possible to get the nice aurora effects from your mod working with the basic configuration?
  8. This is easily the most visually impressive but taxing mod for me. I'm getting about 40% performance hit in atmosphere and low orbit using the medium textures. I have a decent system running an R9 390. Is this typical? Thing is I'm not actually bothered about in-atmosphere effects all that much, I just like looking at the pretty planets from space. Reducing the cloud distance doesn't seem to have much effect. Any tips? Can I just remove the in-atmosphere stuff?
