  1. A bunch of random pictures I took during missions today including a Minmus Sample Return, Moho flyby and the first Docking. In your face Koviet Union you commie sons of a REDACTED we docked first. The LV for Softee 2 and Momo. I think it would be a Titan Delta. Softee 2 on Minmus. Momo enters Moho's SOI. (spoiler due to space saving.) My attempt to launch an Atlas-Able for a satellite contract. (Unfortunately I forgot Skyhawk's tree makes it you have to select fuel for each tank and I forgot to do it for the Able Stage.) Gemini 6 aka Susan B. Kerman has successfully docked with an Agena Targeting vehicle.
  2. Atlas-Able. As ugly as it is, you know you are good when you can get one of those into orbit unlike NASA lol.
  3. Neptune Camera with Hullcams. Its the Ranger TV camera from BDB. I am not sure if TUFX does alter the cameras visuals but I use BallisticFox's Vintage HD.
  4. The Kerbal States one upped the Koviets by sending the first probe to another planet unfortunately due to budget restrictions we could not afford the powerful antenna and had to wait for the probe to get close to Kerbin to get science. Elvira 1: A modified Juno Guidance system is sent to Eve. Again Bill the cameras? Doen't matter what career I do, I still love using the Ranger TV camera lol.
  5. I generally only use SRBs on the first and retro stages and the occasional lift off from another body, so you're not alone.
  6. After many setbacks and the lost of Debussy 4 we were finally able to send a probe to the Mun and return with a surface sample. Taken the day before launch, Debussy 5 was rolled out on a Titan III. Liftoff! After a couple of hours Debussy 5 touched down barely missing rocks and went to dig up or in this case break a Mun Rock. This is a modified Debussy lander with a heatshield, more tanks and a Vanguard engine. Now for reentry Debussy detaches from the lower tank. We have splashed down, though next time we might add beacons just incase we land at night (Write that down Bill.) While we have successfully brought home a Munar sample before the Koviets, a Minmus sample might be feasible but we're still on the fence since Debussy 5 barely had enough Detla V to take off from the Mun and return to Kerbin.
  7. While still working on a sample return vessel we decided to extend the Mercury Lab's life support system capable to last months. The LS tanks are different color to distinguish the supplies and waste. Nothing lab related but I still love the Waterfall effects of the Retro motors. Overall Erly Kerman has lasted a total of 90 days in orbit and currently holds the record for longest stay in space. As for cabin fever thank the Kraken that Erly is a Introvert. On a technical note I did have decals on the vessel and rocket but for some reason Conform Decals keep going invisible during launch.
  8. You think that's bad. Last night I was doing a trial run of a Sample return probe when for no reason the Kraken unleashed itself on the return trip, crashed the game and forced me into a hard restart of my computer.
  9. I originally was not gonna take pictures of this reentry test flight for a possible sample return mission but I changed my mind when I found out we were launching during a Munar Eclipse. First Gen Atlas rockets make great cheap launch vehicles for reentry test especially since I don't have to waste a Titan.
  10. When I downloaded PTrevTrevs' Apollo TUFX profile I was waiting for a proper moment to use it when I decided why not during a Gemini Spacewalk. Unfortunately I forgot the default 4 kerbalnaut's suit types tend to reset. Bonus encountering underwater foilage.
  11. Unfortunately the Koviets have beaten us to the first Multi Crewed launch, A Spacewalk and the first probe to and impact Minmus. However we currently hold the record for longest stay in orbit 1 week and we got the first soft landing on Minmus and had it televised. First Mission: Cake 7 a Mercury one manned laboratory with enough supplies for 8 days and Bob. Launched on a Titan II. Second Mission: Softee which is just a Debussy lander just meant for Minmus. Launched on a Titan something. Strange thing was we "Borrowed" some readings from the Koviet probe and they saw what looked like dust on Minmus, they think it could've been from parts of their rocket impacting before the probe arrived. But due to the footage and readings from Softee it might actually be like a mist or fog of ice. Maybe Minmus has som fore of weather or geysers, we might have to do more exploration in the future.
  12. Not a Voyager Lander(don't have the tree or budget for it) But I successfully landed Debussy 5 3 on the Mun. Since I don't have all the parts for a Titan, I had to do creative liberty on a direct launch. Another night launch due to the alignment of the Mun. Still a Juno Guidance Unit, modified with landing equipment and a engine. We have touched down....in a angle. Bill miscalculated where the camera should point so the generators and comm array are in the shot.
  13. We have beaten the Koviets again!!! We have sent the first female Kerbal into space and orbit. I also got Shaddy to work. Tune in later to see Debussy 5 Debussy 3 land on the Mun.
  14. I finally got to do a manned mission with Skyhawk's tree. Unfortunately the Koviets beat us to the first Kerbal in space, though theirs was fully automated while ours is completely manual. Bonus goof with one of the unmanned test. Though quick question are the Mercury chutes not compatible with Shaddy, or did I install it wrong or are they along with Shaddy not compatible with Realchute?
  15. (Salutes with tears in eyes) This is so beautiful and a proper send off for KSP1 As for KSP2 not sure if I would get it right away, money is very tight for me, which is one reason it took me until September to get BG lol.
  16. Unfortunately due to hardware limitations I uninstalled GU so I am just sticking with Stock system with OPM and decided to add ExtraSolar. Bright side is I can use the new Parallax and AVP. Pictures taken of Debussy 2 the first probe to orbit the Mun and return. In your face Koviet Union, The Kerbal States beat you to orbiting the Mun. What do you call this a Delta/Titan Hybrid? Due to an issue with opening the fairing one of Debussy 2's solar panels was destroyed but luckily 1 was enough. Well unfortunately the Juno control system was supposed to decouple and use the heatshield but the second stage wanted to say. Fortunately we had enough fuel to slow it down for a safe landing.
  17. Any Early Rocket I mainly used early to save money and I don't have the Tech Tree. Redstone: Its great for sounding rockets and sending Kerbals into Space. Atlas: Mainly use it to get the first Kerbal into space. Not as good as Vostok. Delta: Its fun to use but not my cup of tea. Titan: One of my main go to rockets, I use it for alot of early missions where I don't have or can't afford Saturn. I also use it to launch smaller probes or Manned missions to stations or the bigger ship that can't land on Kerbin. Saturn 1 series: For whatever reason they do not like me, I either run out of fuel, do a death roll or the upper stage isn't powerful though it could be my poor piloting. Saturn V: Pretty much my main rocket for sending probes far away, do Lunar Missions or assemble larger rockets like the Bradbury into LKO so I don't have to try and launch the whole thing. And also so Bradbury would not nuke all the Kerbals on the ground or destroy the Ozone. Saturn Launch System: My take on the NLS/SLS which is mainly a extended Saturn V with F1A or B engines, Shuttle SRBs and I wanna say RS-34s instead of J-2s, I already forgot those engines. Mainly for large payloads or possibly interstellar probes. Saturn C8/Nov.......THIS USER HAS BEEN BANNED DUE TO UTTERING THE FORBIDDEN WORD.
  18. For my first Mun contract I made a modified Red Arrow rocket dubbed Matchstick which launched a modified Juno Guidance Unit dubbed Debussy to flyby it. Due to certain reasons 1 I had to launch at night and 2 I don't want to completely show the rocket in fear of getting in trouble, however I will show the awesome waterfall effects of the Scout Boosters. Houston we had a problem, the fairing got stuck. Eventually it fell off and here's Debussy. Ranger Cam view of the Mun.
  19. Soon we will be able to open up beach houses on Moons like Laythe and Titan and fish on the shores. The following Shelab Beach House product may not be suitable for Eve.
