  1. Any tech level would do, since I normally play Sandbox not Career mode.
  2. I love putting the RE-M3 "Mainsail" Liquid Engine in my rockets, but since it's the heaviest are there any best liquid fuel engines for first stages out there? (no mods please) I use the 'Skipper' Liquid fuel engine for my second stage.
  3. I used to normally play career mode, now Sandbox. I can only say a reason, and it is that in Career you have to unlock new parts, but in order to do that you have to transfer science (and all of that stuff). This is just my opinion, and yes, I still play Career sometimes.
  4. As the tittle says, this is my first KSP fan art . I was inspired by someone if you ask.
  5. "Although we lost 17 astronauts, we don't worry about them. We have turned crew respawn on."
  6. SP-1 MISSION Payload SC-Relay 1 (type: Relay) aboard the Arrowel rocket. Launched date: June 9 2017 Screenshots: Rocket Arrowel on Launchpad Liftoff Maximum Aerodynamic Pressure No screenshots for Main Engine Cutoff and Stage 1 Separation. Orbit Burn Stage Two Engine Cutoff Payload Deploy Payload SC-Relay 1 successfully deployed 400km above ground at t+ 1hour 23m with 424 remaining fuel left.
  7. I launched a two-staged rocket with 'Skipper' engines on both stages. But the first stage failed, unable to launch. So I separated the second stage, and off it goes. Little did I know the first stage can only lift itself. Separated second stage lifts off First stage lifting off by itself (left : Second stage; Right: first stage) The first stage I am going to rebuild the whole first stage, without skipper engines. EDIT: I rebuilt the first stage, replaced the skipper engines with RE-M3 "Mainsail". It turns out the launch was pretty well, and got into a very high orbit (779,000m ) with much fuel left. Orbit burn I forgot to bring a payload, but it was just a test anyway!
  8. The moon landing is real. (if they don't believe in moon landings)
  9. MISSION TO NORTH POLE, KERBIN. Just a normal day until I realised I haven't been to one part of Kerbin, the North Pole. I asked on the forums how should I go there, they said: So I went to VAB, and loaded my latest rocket, Spallrow 2. I wanted to bring Jeb, but I guess that's lame, so I created a new Kerbal named 'Kerbal Network' that has maximum courage level and 0% stupidity using the cheats. Liftoff! Okay, it went well. Now it's in sub-orbital heading north. Inside the Mk1 Command Pod. During apoapsis: After 4 minutes, it finally reached the hardest part : re-entry Chute deploy: It went well, until suddenly at 4 kilometres from ground it glitched, forcing the parachute to cut itself. The pod was travelling at 6 m/s, and now 70. Luckily I quickly reacted and did an EVA, and I landed hard. The command pod crashed onto the ground, but at least I am safe. Even though I landed nearly at the north pole, and not at it, it was an achievement for me. Please tell me if I made a mistake in this post or if I misspelled. Thank you for reading.
  10. Spent an hour designing a rocket. Its name's Spallrow. Manned version:
  11. Is there an easy way to get to Kerbin's North and South Poles? I want to plant a flag there.
  12. Hello everyone! I just joined the forums today, even though I have been playing KSP for a long time.
  13. Almost a week ago I made a shuttle and decided to send Jeb to space on it's maiden flight. It made a stable orbit. It all went well until It burnt in the atmosphere on reentry.
