Montery

Hey, I have a totaly unmodded install of ksp 1.7.2 with both dlc expansions. My issue is that I can't put the ground experiments on the ground. I can put them in the storage container, and transfer them to the kerbals inventory, But with any of the ground experiments in any of the kerbals inventory, there is no option to deploy them, either when right clicking on the kerbal, or when draging the experiment out of there inventory and on to the ground. What is going on here? I would appreciate any response.

I can't get the Tweekscale part of Contares to work. But it works with other mods. I put the .cfg from the download in my game data folder. Is this the wrong place? How do I get Contares parts to allow tweekscale? I would be thankful for any help I could get.
