I have abandoned all other interests to continue my current interest, "cluttering space with Kerbal Space Junk" which is going very well. My bride of 43 years and me are both retired and enjoying our time. Hobbies are Flight Simulator and Kerbal Space Program (newest hobby), photography, fishing and crusing the high seas now and then to far away ports.

  1. Well, I seem to be "too new" to send PM's so here is my follow up public comment on control of my vehicle.  I discovered (this is even a giant leap for me) that when I set the thrust to 50% on the two boosters I also set 50% on the main stage engine thus providing NOT enough thrust to keep moving UP.  I did manage to save countless lives of engineers by getting them back with a soft parachute landing by waiting until the proper time to deploy the chute.  Whew!  Life is good again and I am in orbital flight.

Good you could figure it out. I'll PM you, that way you won't have to. :D

It's your friendly neighborhood moderator, here to explain why you couldn't send PMs!

It's one of the features we have in place to prevent spambots from, well, spamming the forums. Don't worry, after you make 5 posts outside of the Lounge, you'll be able to send PMs (and make posts without moderator approval). :)
