  1. Sent my science ship to escape Kerbin SOI on my way to Jool to train my scientists up to 5 stars. I am going to hower right outside kerbin and wait for the trasfer window there.
  2. Today I encountered the KSP docking port bug. I press "undock" and nothing happens. Read on the ned you need to edit the save file. Too scary for me never been in a KSP save file. Launched new ships and trasfer the crew and mark the old ships as debris. Except for that I launched my 200m .... well ... very long science ship to Jool. It is a long stack of several ships. Pusher Science section for 24 three star scientists power section with tweak scaled solar panels ore storage section with ISRU Miner Lander for 15 kerbals that can handle gravity between Mun and Kerbins gravity, it is going to be used for their education to become 5 star scientists. Explorer a very heavy but very compact science lander this stack is probably 200 m long or more .... frame rate is 5 as in "five" when it is loaded. it is on a escape trajectory out of kerbin 4 days left. I PROMISE I SEND A PICTURE OF THE MONSTER WHEN ITS ATTIDE IS PROGRADE AND THE SUN IS SHINING ON IT. bye for now.
  3. Finally got all transport ships back to kerbin so I could ferry tourists again to free up mission slots they been occupying. 34 tourist have been waiting some almost a year. Playing pool and card day in and day out poor kerbals. They are patient I give them that.
  4. Completed the redirect class D asteroid out of the solarsystem. Started yesterday 1 hour full burn at x4 acceleration. Got tired. Continued today 1 hour burn at x4 acceleration. Got up to 12 800 m(s before the game showed I was on an escape trajectory. Then 40 minutes of hard breaking at x4 acceleration. And 90 day coast back to Kerbin. For this I got 1,5 million. Not worth it. I rather land ore on Kerbin 3 times. It felt more like a "gotcha" mission. One have to be careful what contracts to pick,
  5. F-ed up as usual. Eject an asteroid out of the solar system. Built a Dawn powered ship I named "Redirecter" which was 3 times as expensive compared to what the contract would give me. The idea was to be able to return it to kerbin refuel and use it for the next asteroid. I also have a large Nerv powered ship I call "Pusher" to push things around the Kerbin system. I thought I could improve the odds by having that make the initial push and then return to Kerbin. Everything went well lifting the orbit to beyond Duna and undock break hard and a 2 day coast back to Kerbin, I thought this is going well so I switched back to the asteroid and selected pro-grade. But the engines would not start. On that 3,5 million kerbodollar ship I had no antennae. But I won't give up. I will chase that asteroid down with another 3 milliom dollar ship that has antennae.
  6. you are a serious KSP fan. If someone build the cockpit will you irder it on-line? I love the TV series "The Expanse" .... and I try play it like that in KSP 1 without the gunz. The Expanse was even better then StarWarz. If you get a VPN you can download it on ..... hmmm .... that site ... But that site ... don't let you download ... unless you have a VPN.

  8. aha so the planet is named Kerbin but the sun is called Kerbsol? So you ment to spell Kerbsolar system? The Kerbin system definitely is the planet and the two moons. I am to lazy to go and check now what the sun is named in KSP. But that should dictate the name of that solar system.
  9. no we do not want KSP1 repackaged. OpenSource means the source code is avaiable on the net. This is not needed for KSP2. Definitely not if we want a KSP3. Then it should not be opensource, What we need is a great API for modders. Should be enough. I mean if it is GREAT then it should be enough. They said they are going to help modders but blah blah blah we believe it when we see it.

  11. Ofcourse I QuickLoad it. But it depends. I drink beer and play at the same time. So sometimes I ama zombie. So after crash I need to analyze. Was the rocket designed wrong? YES? Then I take my loss and send another improved rocket. Was I intoxicated? YES? The I slap my face hard and try again.
  12. sent a HUGE Ore tank to the science ship I have around Minmus. Too little Lq+Ox onboard to push it there. Used HyperEdit mod to give it more fuel. I could have refueled the thing in orbit but takes too much time and I don'tr have time. So using HyperEdit I refueld it in 4 seconds.
  13. lol .... you can spell that differently like : Send a Screwed mission to Eve surface and back. It's the only major milestone I haven't reached.
  14. The simplest SRB flight east splash down in the water getting science. The Kerbal jumped out got wet more science.
  15. that is not much ....... you will have to find a painful way to get money and buy a new computer. Like mow the lawn of all neighbours in a 9 mile area for the entire summer. dang it is autumn .... you have to wait till next summer.

  17. You are correct. BUT when that happens I say to heck with it I plan the maneuver as good as I can. Then I place a maneuver node where there is 30% of the journey left and make another maneuver node there and make a correction burn.
  18. I play with life support in KSP 1 using mods. It is fine in the kerbol system but makes the ship massive if you going to send them to Jool. Like in the movie 2001 ',) you need a massice ship with just food and fuel. It would be so cool. I think it would have to be optional. For mun bases and other bases KSP 2 will make you able to setup "routine resupply missions" But I don't think those routine resupply missions can target a space ship travelling in space. have you tried "planning" your maneuvers using the system. then you can plan ahead of the burn. And when the burn happens you just need to burn for the amount seconds shown on the NAV ball. Yes I want only procedureal parts too. INFACT all parts should be procedural . And I also played Buzz Aldrins space program which is simple and funny. There you need to research each rocket and you need to test launch each rocket and with each successful launch means the reliability goes up since nothing is probably wrong with the rocket. When you get to 90% reliability it is almost ok to put a human on the rocket, You can find Buzz Aldrins space program for free and play with it for awhile. Coloring parts? yes ... easy like in other games .... just install a color picker for us to use. Eurotruck simulator have one. And I seen it wlsewhere too. Same color picker. What the color pickers usually do not have is "metallic". Would be nice to be able to say how much metallic to introduce into the paint.

  20. no music. I drink beer to soth my nerves. I also do not play KSP for long 1 hour or 2 most. Since I find the campaign booring and grindy I have to play an hour each day so I get anywhere. Kerbal Alarm Clock is a great help.
  21. Land on Eve and get back up into orbit and dock? I don't know the planets name is it Eve that has that terrible gravity? Except that I think I done it all some years back , I just restarted a new career
  22. Create a base rover with the science instruments you have available, There are many Biomes in KSC itself to discover, As you expand KSC you gain more biomes but some are lost. Like around the VAB there is abiomed that only exist when it is half upgraded. The superb sattelite/explorer ship is a FLT800 tank with a Tierrier engine boosted by a KickBack SRB with fins. You can just launch a bunch of those into the kerbol system sending back science by radio and not recovering it on kerbin.. Orbinting high over the Mun. Orbiting low over the mun. high low over minmus. AND you can also land them on mun and minmus. As you get new science instruments you need to go through all biomes on KSC AGAIN. But after you exhausted that science you need to launch a science hopper with drills and ISRU that can land in all the biomes on Mun and Minmus and having many "science containers" you use the mod AutoSCience or whatever it is called To fill them all up with science. Then you send out a retriever .... Same as the ultimate sattelite config Kickback Terrier FLT800 only this time with parachutes. A Kerbal from the science hopper empties on of the science containers .... by now it should contain like 140 - 180 experiments And fly over to the retriever and store the experiments there. Bring them back and land on Kerbin. And you ALMOST have completed the tech tree. My strategy here is WITHOUT having to make any complicated flights on Kerbin. Just KSC and visiting the Mun and Minmus. Then you build a science station around minmus, Send the science hopper there and load all science labs full of data, The science labds will need 3 star scientists so you need to send scientists on an educational trip. Land on mun + FLAG .... orbit sun .... land on Minmus + FLAG dock with science station - level up crew and transfer crew to their science modules and start making science.
  23. No problem. FIRST it is the game basic clock. This can be accelerated/warped but it will push the global clock forward so all missions going on will be accelerated. PROMBLEMS? There have to be a Kerbal Alarm Clock that STOPS the global acceleration if a craft needs to make a planned maneuver. OTHER PROBLEMS?: Players do not have the oppurtunity to play equal amount of time or on the same day. SO ...... The most active player need to be able to play AHEAD in time in a time bubble. When he is done he leaves the bubble but everyone .... well .... he played his mission ahead of time 2 months ahead ..... but everyopne else planning their missions can see in the future his trajectory. Cause it has already been played out in the future. So it is possible to make an intercept course etc etc. Every server needs an administrator, And he should be able to play all ships and even reassign ownership to new people joining after kicking amazing persons out.
  24. I see Well I hope they think about you when improving the new game. I just started playing KSP again so I do not remember but the trajectory you are on is cyan. the first trajectory after a maneuver is brown. You can create multiple maneuvers after each other and I think the next one is purple. if you encounter a moon or planet in your future trajectory it usually change color to show it. Usually it is purple. The game change color when you ENTER Sphere Of Influence and a new color AFTER you leave SPhere of Influence. BUT I am no KSP Ace player. But I think you will figure this out, You probably have created an ENCOUNTER and the game is showing you what will happen if you DO NOTHING. You will ewncounter the object , ENTER AND LEAVE SOI..... and end up with a modified path. This one is usually Purple. It OFTEN happens when you try go to Minmus that the Mun is in the way. You get these weird orbits showin up. It is now you need to put on your thinking cap and try get to minmus by rounding the Mun. tricky tricky.
