When's the challenge due? Also, is separating used SRBs legit? -

I totally agree, but sadly many people just think 'Oh, Steam supports it? It'd be great!' -
KerbalX.com - Craft & Mission Sharing
DunnoAnyThing replied to katateochi's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Now with the Steam Workshop up and running, some of my friends had a debate on what T2 or Squad's next move would be. Many "if..."s were suggested, but since there's no better way than asking the maintainer, it seems that this is the right place to ask! 1. KerbalX/SteamWorkshop integration? -KerbalX gets function to directly upload to SteamWorkshop instead of KerbalX.com or vice versa. 2. T2 blocks(or, in one of my friends' words, 'purchase') KerbalX -since the functionality might be claimed as 'identical to' the Workshop(though actually it isn't), they might want to shut it down or instead turn it into something that steam supports 3. Steam Workshop gets (over time) most of the features that currently only KerbalX has -I'm not sure if you( @katateochi ) can predict what will happen, but some(but not all) say that it might be just copied away(since the source is open). I don't think that any of this will happen, but it's better asked than kept to myself;) -
So nothing is lost, right? Thanks for the hard work!

Yep, no benefit, but thought having many viewers might cheer him up. Thanks for the reply!

And unless they use some obscure hashing algorithm, the hash itself is just as useful as the original one in identifying an individual since the data to compare with can also be hashed in the same way...

One of my friend recently decided to move form the domestic KSP community to here, the global one. He used to write quite a lot of short fictions based on his KSP gameplay, and just posted the first chapter here a couple hours ago. However, since he's completely new here, so I'd like to know what could be done to kinda advertise(not sure if this is the correct term for this/is allowed in the forum) his work other than posting on Reddit?

Awww, that's quite critical

R.A. 1. Civilization can not always go in the right direction.

Great start! I read several novels written by you on some other forum, so I definitely believe that this will be even better. Also love that there are 'many' in-game images! -

Thanks for the review! By the way, I'd like to ask for (a little bit more)specific ways this Manta could be improved. Yep, I expected that *Slap*. Though the tailless design was 'intended', it turned out that I couldn't make it more aesthetically appealing, so just snapped off the tail(sigh). That will be rounded in some way in the next version, but still without a long tail. Also, I'm not sure if this means that 4 Wheesleys are way too much, or instead a different engine should be used? This should be easy to fix since just moving the landing gear a little bit would be enough.(Did I get it right?) Yes, that was the point that I myself was worried the most.(Seriously, who would like to sit not just near the engine or the intake, but in between?) This should be handled in some way, but probably would require quite a lot of redesigning. Also, is the throttle 40-45% too high? If this is the case, I'll have to handle two seemingly contradictory problems. Too much engines but too high required thrust. So, what could be the solution... Anyways, thanks for the review again!(gotta re-educate my engineers...hmm.)

Prolly Steam users will eventually turn to Workshop(at least I guess so), but I don't think others have any other option but to use KerbalX...

Can't still get myself to believe this.Sort of... can't just take it in. It's kind of hard to believe that he's gone. R.I.P. Professor Hawking.

Kerbal Space Program update 1.4 Grand Discussion thread.
DunnoAnyThing replied to UomoCapra's topic in KSP1 Discussion
As a (primitive) test to find out whether there is a dlc, I might try using the CKAN launcher, copy it, and try to launch the copy Is this test good enough? -

Want to use all that are allowed.

A simple entry. Company Name: SimpJet-O Model Name:SimpleJet SRJ1(small regional jet, actually up to 64 if using 8 kerbals per crew cabin.)(alias: Manta 1-1) Price:43,548,000 cruise speed&height: 220~240(throttle to about 35~45%) m/s@4500~5000m craft file:https://kerbalx.com/KreativeKrashKorLinux/Manta-1-1 has about 1350 kallons, uses 0.26kallon/s when at right speed&height Yup. not very optimized, but F.A.N.C.Y.U(FAirly Navigable, Controllable and Yet-Usable)

KerbalX.com - Craft & Mission Sharing
DunnoAnyThing replied to katateochi's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Also, does KerbalX detect .config-edited parts as Non-Stock? Because I get very confused whenever I participate in a challenge wether .config edited ones are 'Stock'.
