  1. This is being paranoid >.> There's 10's of pages of user submitted bugs on the forums, were you expecting them to list every bug in a short novel or something? Idk how the devs could have more blatantly shown the game has bugs. They openly stated about bugs before release as you referenced (what studio does even that?), they had streamers record during unrestricted play which showed a bunch of bugs, they releases a minimum specs list beyond any other game to date, and everyone on the forum knew there were going to be lots of bugs And now people are angry that the game has a lot of bugs, as if no one had the capacity to sit a day and see what the games state is before buying it or getting their money back refunding it after personally verifying the resounding chorus around the interwebs screaming the game has performance issues and bugs. What more needed to be done to alert the community that this game would have a bunch of bugs on release? I feel like people wouldn't be happy if Nate sat on camera, stared the camera dead on and repeated "the game has bugs" like a mantra for 30 minutes
  2. Built a rapier/whiplash spaceplane Repasted my laptop that idled at 75C in desktop (now 50C)... Ive gone from probably <3 fps to around 10 - 15. It has drastically changed my experience so far. Made a dragster, got it to 750 m/s before it blew up Made a simple fighter jet. It's nice just to just fly it around. The sound experience is very nice, the procedural wings feel solid and responsive Sent a SWERV with a ball of hydrogen to orbit and sent it past eeloo at 15000 m/s. It's been 250 years, I dont think I have gotten very far but I dont see Kerbol anymore. Game obviously needs work but I'm having fun Did quick algebra... that marker is as far away as I could make it which comes to almost exactly 5000 ly away... Is this the edge?
  3. Have you tried using the typical "contact us" from the store you purchased it from? Also do you have a receipt that was emailed to you or can you see if you were actually charged for the game?
  4. Despite N64 games cost 45 bucks in 1998... 50 in 2023, a quarter century later, is definitely pushing it
  5. 2006 is there twice. lol, very important year
  6. This is an insanely dishonest argument... You do recognize the difference in needing and relying on mods to make a game comfortably playable vs having mods to tailor a players game to their tastes, right?
  7. Like it or not, KSP 2 is in the state it is in . @ShadowZone just released a video offering tips to make the KSP 2 experience more enjoyable in the immediate and I think it would benefit those playing to look over this summary of player side fixes available for some issues
  8. Watched Stratzenblitz75's stream today and here in the stream (t=4230s) is where the bug was noticed: Stratzenblitz75 continued to do a genuine set of drag model tests and discovered that 2 docking ports attached in line generate drag that's equivalent to them being plainly exposed. Issue was iteratively determined to be the issue here (t=4890s) They also noted some possible errors in nose cone drags while testing for source of excessive drag.
  9. If you bought it for another reason I think you're doing it wrong. As I've said in other threads I knew what I was getting in to after getting BG3 day one of EA. A complete mess, and I just wanna help
  10. I have no game industry experience but I feel like sunk cost fallacy worries might push them away.
  11. And the devs stop receiving money if the publisher thinks it will flop
  12. Raise the issue and see if it gets heard. Devs have listened to community requests several times already Keep in mind though that this is still the tip of the iceberg as many things we've seen implemented arent in this release, likely cause they want to find the bugs iteratively and I have no doubt that they know the game has its bugs, which is probably part of the reason they went for early access in the way they did. Obviously T2 had a hand in pushing this game to release and I would say it could have spent a bit more time in the oven ideally, but you work with what you got. I just think the incompleteness would be even more staggering if they introduced the whole roadmap at once and the process of finding, focusing on, and patching bugs would be far more spread out, more difficult to nail down, and probably lead to a much less flexible code at the end of the day. At the end of the day if the games state is depressing, pretend it didn't release and see where it is in a couple months, KSP 1 is still there for now
  13. You can find a 1080 ti, theyre relatively cheap for their performance 8 gigs of RAM is low too. I would look to double it. The CPU as others have mentioned will run but not well. Honestly with those specs you're running that was a budget machine from 10 yrs ago. I wouldn't expect to play a modern game on that today at all. Maybe do the same as back then and get a new budget rig to get you through the next decade
  14. You and the team deserve a bit of it. I think we all know you have more to go but I can at least say it's awesome to see how far along it is and how its going to flesh out
  15. What about them is bad? I get it takes a bit of getting used to but for instance I like that middle click and drag moves up and down.
  16. that's fair, hope the game crosses the threshold for you soon
  17. I think I need to put fresh thermal paste on, my laptop sits at 85C on desktop so keep that in mind too
  18. Okay you have fun thinking that friend. Sounding really familiar to the BG3 forums here. I knew what I got into with their EA and this ain't looking too different. I'm here to find bugs and help the devs make something great, if you're looking for finished products, well... 1st week of bg3 EA We all saw the streams, we all knew it was far from complete, sorry you feel disappointed though
  19. It's sandbox mode, everything is maxed out of the box
  20. Played fine for me on my gfs laptop with a 2070 mobile, and played poorly but bearable on my laptop with a 1650 mobile and i5 9300h. That said they were pretty transparent but you're free to hate if you want.
  21. Bro... Spoilers. Please change thread title
  22. Sure but announcing its in early access kinda does They're asking for help in fixing that, hense early access We all saw what we were getting, whether it's worth the value is up to the buyer. Selling it for less in my opinion would be dumb in the long run and I'm happy I got a $10 discount
