Where is the metallic hydrogen
mcwaffles2003 replied to SSTO Crasher's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Yeah, but they gotta drag us along and give us extra tidbits along the way. Also, they did throw us a bone and throw in a new nuclear engine with insane performance that is 10t. Personally I'm hoping to see some new ion type engines like in NFT as updates release -
Im not his biggest fan either, dude kinda becoming more n more of a jerk it seems.. but that doesnt mean that people like him publicizing the game would make the game worse, It would just open up the games reach. But I wouldn't even put Elon as being a science communicator, just the only celeb I know outside youtube that has mentioned the game. Also, Im not talking about putting real people cameos in the game... that would be dumb IMO Kinda would just like to see KSP used as an educational tool like Rome Total War was used for battle reenactments on the history channel back in the day.

You don't need to cherry pick when there's an obvious glitch to prove your point... this is blatant strawmanning (I think KSP 1 modded looks better so far)

Rocket noodling? Oh gods, not again...

And just fuse them into a single piece? If thats the case then you wouldnt be able to simulate stress on the joint and it would be simple rockets -

i think some flexing would be okay, but nothing close to what we are used to. I think the issue is a difficult one to resolve though as making better joints would probably require more points of attachment, 3 at least, and that would take extra processing to simulate -
How many people have or will be upgrading for KSP2?

I think the parking garages are more just a lore for where the kerbals park their cars when the go to work at KSC. It makes the space center more filled out and the facility more believable. I have doubts we will be parking vehicles we build in them (or at least that being their intended purpose)
