  1. I\'ve tried counterweights, usually a dummy copy of the main ship. It\'s difficult to perfect that, though.
  2. I built a neat spaceplane which I later realized would be a great mid-air launch platform for a rocket. Unfortunately, the cockpit is the large shuttle cockpit, so I can\'t easily rebuild it to have an underslung rocket. Is there any way to copy the plane\'s part configuration into a plane with a different cockpit?
  3. So I took it upon myself to modify the vanilla LanderLeg to go from +90 to 0 from the horizontal instead of +90 to -45. After learning that the variable I could edit in the .cfg had to do with initial position, not final, I took it upon myself to try and modify the model. Only I have no idea what the hell I\'m doing. The model does load fine, and it shows up in the parts menu, but I can\'t actually attach it to the ship, and it doesn\'t show up normally, either. I feel like I might have screwed up the coordinates in the .dae somehow, but I can\'t image how. Help, please? The whole part folder is attached, as I\'m not sure if I screwed up the .dae or the .cfg or both.
  4. Minor necro/threadjack, but: I\'ve noticed that changing the .cfg in the vanilla leg such that pivotingAngle = 90 yields a leg that still deploys to the same 45 degree angle below the horizontal, but with a different starting position (+45). Is there a quick-and-dirty method for setting the final position of the leg, rather than the initial? Or do I need to change the model itself such that the final position is at the horizontal (or whatever desired angle) rather than -45?
  5. Kick logic to the curb and read the illegible! That's the way the Kerbal Space Program Forums do things!
  6. Intersting bug I've found with this: My Kermen seem to die at the moment the bombs detonate, regardless of the distance between the main pod and the blast. I'm pretty sure they're getting confused and boarding the bombs. Either that, or they kill people Kerman and leave buildings standing. Edit: Nope, I'm wrong in blaming the bombs for the death- apparently they were climbing into the RCS and getting blown to hell there, possibly because it's a command module. On that note, I'd love to see a version of the mark 83 that had a bottom anchor point so I could put it on the tip of my crew module, just to make sure they never botch a landing.
