  1. I've spend a few hundred on computer parts, and I can't find a processor or GPU anywhere. The freaking Crypto miners are buying everything up. Last generation's cards are going for double their MSRP and trying to find a current gen card just isn't happening. This sucks. I just want a new PC to render video and play games with ray-tracing. I don't want to battle scammer, scalpers, miners and bots just to find working parts >:(
  2. Absolutely. What if there was a moon with rings? A planet orbiting over the top of the sun instead of around it? Two gas giants, orbiting each other, giving and taking away chunks of atmosphere? There's so much possibility!
  3. I want a planet with rings made out of dwarf planets.
  4. Yeah, I'll just stick to my infamous strategy of never leaving Kerbin's sphere of influence. Thanks though!
  5. Maneuver nodes and transfer windows. I don't know what all the cool pink and blue circles do and I've been playing for so long I'm scared to ask.
  6. Is this just the "don't click" thread again?
  7. That is a good point. I always did think KSP was kept alive by the modding community.
  8. They can sue for money lost due to people making mods to avoid the DLC. This is possible. T2 is not a super friendly company, dude. It's not about legality, it's about alleged damages due to mod parts.
  9. I think it would work if it was a large, expensive late-game objective. Once you've finished assembling it, it locks into place in orbit like a moon. That way, you wouldn't need a physics range extender or several threadrippers.
  10. I want large, structural hull shells that cancel out the aero effects of props inside of them- essentially very strong, rigid, permanent fairings. Imagine the 3.5 meter tanks, but as an empty shell for you to build in? If we were to get massive (5+ meter) rocket parts, you could even build a whole interior for your rocket! You could do a true mothership build, or a space battleship, or just a really detailed space station. I kind of want to foot the bill for an unlimited internet plan and start running a 24/7 persistent anarchy server. Imagine how much fun it would be to have absolutely no limits but the your creativity and the foulness of the other players!
  11. Well, T2 owns Private Division and they've been notoriously anti-fun on their other franchises (i.e. GTA single player modders getting banned). I also think that the mods didn't get removed because the mods were there before official features introduced in the DLC, and any mod removals would warrant huge backlash.
  12. I want some really good mod support. Maybe a template or guide to uploading your own parts, or having a CKAN-esqe system built in. I think the tools to go above and beyond the game's limited limitations should be included in the box.
  13. Absolutely not. I like KSP because it's a little unrealistic. I don't really have that much fun in super realistic flight simulators and I find it much more entertaining playing an easier but still accurate sim. They should leave it to the modders- if people want deviations from the base game, they have the tools to do it themselves. And on the subject of making it a DLC? Hell no. I'm not paying $15 for something already available for free and a little screwing around in my file manager. If I want to support the creator, I'm donating to their Patreon or PayPal or something, but I think it's stupid to lock it behind a paywall in the guise of DLC. Also, if there is a realism-based DLC, that gives them the justification to take down realism mods because "they're trying to circumvent the dlc with mods". That could lead to some odd legal issues and a whole genre of mod getting wiped.
  14. 1: War thunder doesn't let me design my own double-body AN-225 Gunship. 2: I would kill for CODE-esqe combat in real time. The decoupler idea is really sick.
  15. Hey! There's salty 13 year olds too, don't discredit Call of Duty too much!
  16. Why not just an option in the menu to upload your own flags? It opens your file explorer, you select the .png of your flag, and boom, it's in the game and you can select it any time you want. Simple and easy to use without restricting people to in in-game flag editor that absolutely wouldn't stack up to GIMP or Photoshop or MSPaint. This'll make it a ton easier for more tech illiterate people to upload their own pictures into the game, and I doubt it would take very long to implement. I sometimes still have trouble installing mods and I've been playing the game for nearly 5 years now. being able to skip all of the unnecessary file navigation would be a blessing.
  17. Seems like there's a lot of "Billy-bob"s in this thread. How magnificent would it be if we got it as both a prefix and suffix? "Billy-bobbilly Kerman" would be a great find.
  18. Hell yeah, dude! The nanosecond BDArmory is ported I'm starting a war server. Instead of generic shooter #147, we get to design our troops and units and the contest will be a test of "who can make the best close air support craft the cheapest" and not "who can dropshot you around a corner the fastest".
  19. I sure hope the UI isn't too screwed. I don't see a point in just completely re-arranging it. The current one is a bit outdated, but it just needs some nicer lines or less clutter. I guess we'll just have to wait for some real gameplay footage
  20. Where's my dislike button @mods? This subkerbal trash needs to be deleted. Why hate Dre's? All it needs is a little love and you have a challenging landing to boast of and a beautiful canyon!
  21. Yeah, the hype is already pretty dead. After it got delayed, I think it's just gone. They announced the game too early and most people have probably forgotten about it and'll only remember when it gets released.
  22. I'd like to keep the Kerbals out. Who needs 'em? Probe gang 2021 baby! Absolutely. I don't mind DLC, but I hope they don't go too far like a lot of game devs and make half of the features in game paid DLC. I just got Destiny 2 and like 2/3rds of it is DLC.
  23. Well, we aren't talking about KSP. I feel like a very small orbital starhook would work in KSP1, but it'd be pretty lame. A real, full sized one could be a late game objective in KSP2, and once built and in orbit could be treated as a stationary moon of Kerbin.
  24. Recently my mind has changed about this. Most mobile devices are probably powerful enough to run a (slimmed down an optimized to hell and back) version of KSP. The problem is KSP 2 absolutely won't be able to run on them, and why port an older version of the game to a device when you have a new version ready to go? I've tried it, it's pretty okay. I think an SFS-style game branded with KSP and having Kerbals in it would work fine as like a marketing tool.
