  1. thanks for your suggestion!!!! but the jet engine follows the same principle right??? air comes in to the chamber, air is slowed down, fuel is given, then then that mix is ignited. the gas expands and tries to escape. this is lead through a nozzle thus creating thrust. iam not making an afterburner, iam installing an actual GT combustion chamber after the edf. (edf and chamber are not in direct contact) actual GT combustion chamber, instead of those axial compressors, i use the edf. the thrust is made only if the combustion persists inside the chamber and that is done the flame holders. so it plays a major roll in creating thrust ryt?? plzz tell your suggestions.
  2. iam trying to make an edf afterburner for attaining double the thrust obtained from the edf. how come the flame holders helps in creating the thrust???
