  1. Well... I just actually started French...
Let's hope I can learn it by the end of the year, because in 2021 I want to start learning the "lingua franca" of 中国!
(as there are many other chinese languages: cantonese, fuzhounese, shanghainese, hunanese, mongolian, tibetan, etc..) (by lingua franca i mean mandarin)

    Sample text in French:
Bonjour mes copains!

P.S. I had to look up n'as pas lu because I haven't learnt past or future tenses yet.

You're pretty good for a beginner!

Here is a slight correction of it:

      Quote

Bonjour mes copains ! (We are annoying and love to put a space between exclamation and interrogation marks; doesn't apply to period/full point)

Je suis Xémina, une bulle violette avec la le symbole "Delta V". J'aime la musique, l'astronomie et le l'histoire. Mon livre preferée ("é" for male, and "ée" for female, and "livre" is considered as a male noun) c' est Oliver Twist du autor de l'auteur anglais Charles Dickens, et mon film preferée (same story, "film" is a male noun) c' est La morte du Stalin La Mort de Stalineune comédie anglaise sur la Russie en les 1950s dans les années 1950 (c'est banni en Russie ! ). J'aime aussi la culture et les langues du monde, est et pour cette raison j'apprends le français. En tous cas, je pense que ma mon texte (male noun) et sufficientment suffisamment longue ("texte" is male) et que tu n'as pas lu cette (je ne sais pas pourquoi je continue en écrivant d’écrire, bien je arrêterai m’arrête, je arrêterai m’arrête...)
      Comment est ma mon texte,

French is a true PITA to learn, and this for every population speaking it. Even after a whole life, some who learnt it as their first language are still making first grade mistakes :D

Don't worry about it. In my scholarship, I got nine years of French, and three years of literature. I ended with results which were more than decent... and the auto-correct flashed at three occasions in my answer to you

Now the good part is both English and French has evolved together and influenced each other. While about 45-50% of modern English uses words with a Latin and Neo-Latin basis, French is also counting a lot of English words in its dictionary. Quickly you will start to recognize those, and they could help you to create easier sentences in French.

We also have a lot of words from other Neo-Latin languages (mainly Italian and Spanish), but also from Saxon languages, and even from Russian, but that's another story.

I noticed a few myself! Thanks! I knew a few were off but I wrote this at 11:00(pm), so my brain wasn't exactly "working".
