So I'm playing around with FAR but it seems like my planes wont slow down. At 13.3km from KSC I'm traveling 190.3ms AT 323m altitude. After traveling 16,000 meters I was able to bleed off just 119ms. Is this right?

I say nay to RSS, and here's why.

earth's system will not be the primary system, nor does it make sense to funnel resources into a dlc project modders will ultimately take on. It would be better to spend those recources on say- a stock kopernicus. In any case the entire argument about difficulty and burn times doesnt resonate with me. It will take years and highly accurate maneuvers to reach a new system in ksp2. Without making straight up cheat engines im honestly interested in how they will implement navigating interstellar travel. You're complaining about a few day trip to the moon vs. A multi decade (at minimum) trip to a new system. So A. You really just want to blast rss or B. This game isnt for you. -

[1.7.2] KK Launchers - Delta, Atlas Pack
SUPERFY replied to Kartoffelkuchen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Kerbalized SpaceX for life size v2 and Tundra exploration for stock alike V2. I personally like the v2 from Kerbalized SpaceX better, plus its the same size as the rockets from this mod. The mods @Cheesecake gave I'm sure are awesome but they are old and out of date. Lazteks will fill your game with exceptions and lag while the hatch doesn't work for other mod he listed. -
Thanks!

Is there any way to figure out the dimensions on your rocket? Such as its height and diameter. I don't care if it is a mod.

Looks good to go to me!

Lack of reentry heating
SUPERFY replied to notJebKerman's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Who would want to play without atmospheric re-heating? Its one of the primary challenges of space flight. -
The BFR looks nice! Way to over powered though. Do you plan on balancing it? Currently not only is the upperstage itself a single stage to orbit, but you probably could get to Duna leaving the launch pad with nothing but the upperstage without re-fueling. I think I reached around 4000ms launching straight of the launch pad with the UpperStage. Right this sec the BFR doesn't need a booster to reach orbit or leave kerbins sphere of influence. The upperstage probably shouldn't even be able to produce a TWR over 1 with a full tank.
