  1. Has anyone come across an issue where the main menu settings for scatterer won't open? I can open open the settings with alt-F10/F11 or ctrl-alt-F10/F11 fine when a save is loaded and I can open it in the game settings menu, though the window that opens is blank, but at the main menu screen the shortcuts do nothing and showMenuOnStart is set to true. Id like to adjust things as scatterer is causing a 4Gb increase in ram usage.
  2. It seems that the biome map for Narath is mirrored with respect to the planet itself. It isn't just the S.C.A.N. overlay either, confirmed that the biomes are mirrored when I landed.
  3. Liquid hydrogen has less then a tenth the density of kerosene (or whatever liquid fuel is modelled after). You need a tank with over ten times the volume to get to the same mass of LH2 and the mass is what matters. Use a different fuel instead, like liquid fuel, then the lightbulb is better then a tweakscaled nerv. I think LH2 only really works for space built/assembled craft.

  5. Really? Don't think I've ran into that yet, but I have noticed a few other things I figured were because of DX11.
  6. I play with all the systems, visuals, and a "few" other mods you can see below on 8Gb of RAM. You just need to lower some settings and run in DX11. SO for anyone that wants it all, you can have it, you just have to fiddle around a bit! You will want something else to do while it all loads though.

  8. Hello! Long time listener first time caller. After well over a year hiatus I'm back into KSP again. I immediately fell into the pit of mods, spent a day tweaking things, and have now been exploring space for the past two weeks (when I'm patient enough for the 20min load time for the game). When I left new planets were just becoming a thing and now I get to travel to other stars! Anyway, figured I should say hi rather then just hitting and running for technical support. Cheers!

I'm finding bodies extremely dark during daylight and my ships aren't really lit up by the sun either. Below is a picture on the mun with Kerbol visible: I tried running on a clean install but that didn't seem to fix it. Is there something I can reset or modify to fix this? Thanks a lot for the work on this mod, the planets are fantastic, even if I cant really see them !
  10. Hey all, I'm having an issue where crafts in space and atmosphere free bodies are not being lit by kerbol. This doesn't seem to be an issue on Kerbin, where day/night cycles appear to be working fine, but the Mun is just as dark during the day as at night. I can play with the vacuum ambient light turned up to see, but it doesn't look great that way. Has anybody seen this issue before? I've searched these forums and Google but nothing turned up. I can post my full mod list once I get home, just thought I'd check if someone knew what causes this off the top of their head. I am playing with Kerbol Star Systems with up-to-date Kopernicus and I had scatterer/eve/planetshine installed until I removed them to try and troubleshoot. Cheers! Edit: The solution was found, the problem was due to the new Kopernicus update not being fully compatible with KSS.
