  1. I've been out of the Kerbin SOI but I've never landed on another planet other than the Mun and Minimus, I'm not sure why I haven't either.
  2. The game gives you as much freedom as you want, but in my case, I like direction. Meaning each "Space Program" that I play, it has an end game goal, wether it be colonizing, grand tours, or historical, I always narrow it down a bit. So my question is, how many of you play multiple saves? I was thinking about having my current save being pretty open in terms of imagination and starting a second one to follow a historic path...
  3. I used to play a lot of competitive games in my teens (counter strike, the call of duties and such) but once I found KSP a few years back, everything changed. I play a lot of simulator games now (X-Plane, DCS) but I always seem to come back to KSP for a while. It was the freedom of being able to play a game in its simplest form, or downloading a few mods and it turns into the Dark Souls version of KSP. Thats what I love.
  4. Camera Tools mod i think? Not sure if you can do it with stock KSP
  5. I see that Kerbal Joint Reinforcement doesn't play nice with 1.5.1 and saw someone post an updated DLL hotfix for it to work. Does anyone know if theres an update or where to find that DLL?
  6. Currently I'm on and off with KSP. I've spent over 1000 hours staring at those little green men but I just can not get back into it. Its one of my all time favorite games but instead of playing 4-5 hours a day I spend that in a week now. I miss KSP
  7. I believe the Rover Autopilot is designed if you are using that craft, as for Bon Voyage its simulated meaning you can set a destination and then the rover will get there over time. I mostly use Bon Voyage for long distance and haven't experienced any game breaking bugs (the Kraken, disappearing rover, etc) but the only thing I did experience is the mod struggling to find a path for the rover.
  8. Honestly, my first 100 percent successful mission was a while back when I was REALLY into KSP. I probably logged over 1000 hours into KSP at that time but it was an Apollo Style Mun landing. Put a Kerbal version of the Saturn V together and everything went perfect, staging, docking, landing, and returning. I don't think a video game has ever given me that much satisfaction before. I tried to recreate it about a month ago and failed horribly. I guess it was just luck.
