  2. Yeah i know about the inability to recover a vessel if its still in motion or not perfectly still. Yes, I am complaining. Ultra frustrating spending what I have on a game, say 300 hours now... I have never been able to get past 20 hours in a single game save due to this bug or that one. Yes I am complaining. As far as fixing this game for me, I basically give up. My negative review on Steam stands, base game is ultra basic, simple and not very fun, especially for 40$ with a 20$ dlc, and modded games are too plagued with bugs to reliably play. Nope was about 100 meters from launchpad on kerbin. Bugs do seem to be features in this game, now only if I enjoyed squashing bugs, this would be my perfect game.
  3. Yeah, having same problem, have been since I started playing this game months ago. Squad cant fix a 5 year old bug, pathetic. I literally cant play ksp due to this 5 year old bug kicking my ass.
  4. I cant get mods to work in this game, some thing always breaks and my save file gets corrupted. generally same bugs over and over, squad can fix them.
  5. So I can't get past a bug that makes it so I cant recover my vessel after my first flight,,,, so i go to google and search for this bug. I find that this has been a bug since 2013.... Wait a min, it's now mid 2018... hmmm 5 years and you still cant fix this completely game breaking bug? I want my money back.
  6. Hundreds of hours into this "game" nearly all of that time running into game breaking bugs and trying to fix them. I know,. I know. I should send out logs to community for help after every half hour of play. And try to fix each bug as I go. Just spent 20 hours or so in the last week after taking a several month break. I have played the game for exactly 1 hour of that time. The rest if trying to make game work. Now I keep running into a bug right off the bat that, makes it so I can't recover my vessel. Is this space program, or Bug Squasher Simulator? So last 20 hours have been waisted, because this game is still too full of bugs to play. I spent 60 Dollars on this game with exp and have yet to actually be able to play.... Thanks Squad..
  7. Today in KSP I realized that this game is unplayable. Base game is boring and bugged, modded attempts at this game have seemed promising but always end in frustration due to this bug or that. Maybe I will check back in, in a year or so.
  8. Doesn't work for me, I get same bug I had last time I tried. "Argument is out of range." Doesn't let me quick save, recover vessel or exit game. I have to close game, out of the game.

  11. Does this work with Sigma Dimensions rescale mod? Any issues?
  12. Just program in the physics? Should be simple in 2-D. If you cant do this then your going to need another semester before passing your class. Everything in system pulls on everything else. It just results in a vector. Add all the vectors up. Ksp most likely ignores everything outside of SOI. Recalculate a split second later. I don't know how to program but...
  13. I'm playing your mod along with OPM on 1.4.2 in science mode, and have had no problems yet. Though I did have problems with contracts in career mode. Probably due to the 1.4.x contracts problems in general, and what ever Squad changed there.
  14. I, for one, don't really want multiplayer. A multiplayer game like this would be great, but the physics would have to be different. I could imagine that instead of normal KSP time warp, perhaps there could layers of physical warp not based of time but on speed, when you break into another sphere of influence or, reach a certain altitude above a body, These warps would be physical warps, in that time would not be warped, rather players speed, or progression on particular orbit. This would fix the issue of players having to wait on other players, while still keeping base orbital mechanics in game. At the start of each warp a player could choose how long he wants to warp for before stopping to alter course and then be able to enter back into warp. Perhaps this could be done somehow with a mod or in the stock game, using a special engine or something else, but it would be a giant change for base game, unmodded.
  15. I have been playing gamelinx and opm planet packs, on 1.4.2, since Kopernicus was updated. There seemed to be some issues with contracts bugging out. Which does not surprise me since 1.4.x had so many problems with contracts anyway. I then tried science only and have not seen any errors pop up yet on screen (debug mode on). This report is for anyone wanting to start playing the planet packs on 1.4.2.
  16. So I have posted a few threads on here, in this section. This is my favorite, single player game, ever, by far at this point. I am rather biased to start with, as I am obsessed with space in general. I have been watching ksp develop for the last 4 years waiting for a polished product, in order to have the best first experience with game as possible. lol anyway I have been advised to think of ways to improve the game that mods have not already accomplished. A few mods have touched on this subject but not enough. Perhaps there are not enough tool currently for them to work with? I would love to see the Kerbals in game have more influence on adventures, and conquests than they currently do. Currently after you acquire enough science to get the AI pilot, the usefulness of all the Kerbin seem nearly meaningless. You need a pilot for back up in case you forget to deploy fairings or suddenly fall out of range of comm network. Engineers repack shoots and open solar panels when you make a mistake. Scientist are needed to reset science experiments if you need while on the go. However this aspect is only really necessary if you try to make it hard on yourself in science, either by mod or by career settings. Also they are needed to make the science modules work, which are extreamly op and only really needed if you have a modded game or have made science hard in game settings. I would love to see more things for the Kerbals to do, and a more meaningful leveling experience for all of the Kerbals. I also want to feel something for a Kerbin, after I take the time to level he or she up. I want to feel bad if i lose someone. I currently only feel bad if i lose Jebidiah or Valentina ... lol For example, perhaps the following could be entertaining if worked into the game. Perhaps add RNG into the game, say in the form of malfunctions, which are abundant in real life rocket science. Simple designs with few parts would have little chance of malfunctioning. Larger craft with 50+ parts would need an experienced engineer on board in order to get ahead of, or fix any potential problems that may arise. Perhaps a good pilot could give you 5% more agility with any craft that hes in. There has to be thousands of good ideas out there on how to improve upon the Kerbals interactions with the Kerbal Space Program. I would love to hear others thoughts and ideas on this, and see if something meaningful could be achieved.
  17. I had this problem too at first. I seem to have been able to bypass the bug by using cheat commands in order to fully upgrade the mission complex that gives you contracts, first thing. Do this before accepting any contracts and you should be able to bypass that particular bug, I have tried it several times and gotten that exact same bug several times. My work around seems to work. Don't ask me why, but it does. My latest save file in 1.4.1 which is heavily modded has not had any bugs in the 20 hours that I have put into it. I also knoticed several other bugs involoving the Mission Complex. Upgrading mission complex to full before doing anything else seems to have fixed all of those bugs. There is something seriously wrong with the Mission Complex. Oh and also I had trouble with tourist contracts so I have avoided them like the plauge.

I have loved this music since i first found EVE 10+ years ago. Bellow the Asteroids and Close to a Holy Place, are a few of my favorites. All of this music has a space feel to it too due to being made for a space game.
  19. I bought dlc hour 1 and have not even clicked on the mission button. I do like the parts that the DLC added.
