  1. I know something similar happens to the MK3 cargo bay but only in the editor (and modifying the deploy limit should fixed it in the editor as well, at least temporary). Since you didn't ask a question: is this some kind of a bug report or do you want some help to fix it? If it is the latter one, I'm not quiet sure if anyone beside SQUAD can fix it anyway...
  2. That's a know scatterer bug. Switching to the tracking station and back to the KSC should fix it (sometimes it needs a second try).
  3. So the game runs when you start it the first time but after closing, at the next start it will stuck in the loading screen? Ok, let me show you something strange. I've setup a fresh install of 1.4.5 without DLC and compared my log with yours. On the left side is your log, on the right side is mine: The big grey parts in your log are missing entries and my log already got 4k lines more than yours when my game finished loading all the configs. To be more precise: except for the localization.cfg, your whole install misses all the stock configs for agencies, contracts, resources, parts and so on. As soon as KSP tries to load the part database, your game is stuck since the game cannot find any parts (because their configs are missing). Please check your KSP install folder, if these config files are indeed missing, for example: D:\Games 2018\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\Squad\Parts\Aero\airbreak\Airbreak.cfg If the config file isn't there, there must be a program in the background messing up your install. You already said that you don't use the twitch/curse launcher so the best guess I have, is a anti virus program going riot on KSP. But if the config file does exist and KSP just don't load it, I have aboslute no clue what's the reason for the issue. (On a sidenote: You run the 32bit version again but that's not the problem here)

I'm running into two little issues with GPP... 1) I'm using GPP_Secondary so I don't want my Kerbals to be named 'Gaelan' and I wrote a MM patch to modify the Renamer.cfg: This works fine so far but after starting a new game, the first Kerbals in the roster will still be named 'Gaelan': Any ideas how to rename them as well? (I know, I can rename them by editing the savefile but I wonder if there is a 'clean' solution fort this.) 2) Apparently, it is possible to increase the 'Terrain quality' slider in the graphics settings menu beyond the usual limit. Stock settings are 'Low', 'Default' and 'High' but with GPP installed I can slide it even 2 steps further (it keeps saying 'High') but this will result in a 'Array index is out of range' exception: Tested on a fresh KSP 1.4.5 install, with GPP, GPP_Seconday + dependencies installed through CKAN, no other mods.   7. It's totally fine, I don't need a 'no crew' option, just a different default crew assingment. This is actually the important feature: Anyway, thanks for the config, it will be helpful if I decide to change something later on

  9. Hey there I got disappointed by Jebs flying skills, he tends to do crazy stuff instead of going for the goal of the actual mission. So I want to give Val a chance but Jeb keeps climbing into every rocket. I wonder if it is possible to change the default crew members which are automatically placed into a pod/cockpit so I don't have to change the pilot manually everytime? Killing Jeb or sending him on a endless mission is not an option If it is not possible in a stock game, a mod solution would be fine as well
  10. Not quiet sure if I have to report it here or in one of the mod threads but when I try to install EVE and SVE, CKAN will list 'EVE default config' as a recommend mod. SVE does not allow EVE default configs and CKAN will report an error if you try it anyway, so if it is possible, the configs shouldn't be listed as recommend.
  11. Like I said before, we need a new log. Does the game stuck when you try a fresh clean install as well? When you reinstalled your game, did you check for remaining files in your install directory? Some configs and mod files will remain if you just uninstalled it via steam and since something really borked your last install, probably something was lest to break even the reinstalled game.
  12. You guys already did a very good job on this mod, I'm sure you'll find a solution for all the quirks in it Oh, and btw: thanks for all the comments in the source code, it helped a lot when I tried to find the reason for Science Alert not working with Kerbalism
  13. That's even one more reason why it should be accessable on every pod and while on EVA, isn't it? Right now, it is just the pod my Kerbal was sitting in before he went on EVA.
  14. A file hoster provides an online service to store files on their server. Every cloud like dropbox, google drive, one drive, etc...will do the job as well.   15. You can update your mods, they are not up to date, especially ModuleManager. But BDA, PhysicsRangeExtender, VesselMover, etc... they are all a bit off in the version number. If it doesn't help either, please upload a fresh log
  16. Well, you can try to reinstall the whole game but I have the feeling that it will not help either since your check for file integrity already failed. Like I said, I've seen something like this before... How did you install your mods? Manually on your own, CKAN, any other tools? Any other tools which are somehow connected to KSP?
  17. Uhm...in this case: can you check the folder manually? Just take a look if it is there. In your case, it should be here: D:\Games 2018\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\Squad\Localization In the folder must be a single file called 'dictionary.cfg'
  18. Sure You bought the game on steam so the easiest solution would be to check your file integrity. Right click the game in your game library -> properties -> local files -> check for issues (I don't know the correct english name for this button, but there are just 5, you will find the correct one ). Steam should find the missing files and will download them again.
  19. @KidWithTheHands Your whole localization folder of the stock game is missing. The last time I've seen this, the twitch launcher was the reason. ANy chance you use it as well? (Probably it is not just a missing localization folder...I cannot find several others as well but maybe they aren't loaded until you game crashes)
  20. The most useful informations can be found in the output_log.txt and the KSP.log. Lets assume you are using windows, than you will find them here: KSP.log: KSP_install_directory/KSP.log (the same folder cotains your KSP.exe and KSP_x64.exe) output_log: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Squad\Kerbal Space Program\output_log.txt error.log: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Squad\Kerbal Space Program\Crashes\Crash_2018-09-04_141530\error.log If you don't use windows, take a closer look at my first response to you. Like Gargamel already mentioned, please don't copy&paste the logs into the forum. Upload them to a file hoster and share a download link with us
  21. Do you use Kerbalism? It will disable the kopernicus solar panels
  22. I just opened a pull request to add Kerbalism support, keep an eye on the next update There is a small chance that the update will fix your other issue as well but I wasn't able to reproduce it so I cannot test it.
  23. Even though it is not a game breaking bug, I see no reason to keep it secret. Maybe it is not even a bug but an inteded feature, I don't know
