  1. Yeah, I mostly wanted to know if anyone had ever seen anything similar. It only happened with that single instance of a vessel, I put an identical one in orbit and it didn't lag or spam the log so I'm guessing it has something to do with the kerbals on it interacting with the various life support modules. One intersting thing though, I used Set orbit to move the glitched vessel around, and it only seemed to lag in orbit around Eve and Kerbin. It was fine around Mun and Moho. So perhaps it has something to do with atmospheres.
  2. I'm having an issue and i think it is related to this mod. I have a station under 100 parts in LKO. For some reason, whenever I get near the station or switch to it, I get 6 FPS. I tested the station in another save, and got 60 fps. Console log is getting spammed by: [USI-LS ]Vessel situation changed, refreshing life support Over 120 mods KSP 1.12.2
  3. It does that all the time. You know how many times i am building a wing, and it switches off mid-work? Then i have to start over. Get used to it.
  4. My laptop came with 8 GB of RAM. While it is more than enough to run stock, my stupid ass installed 60+ mods. And you know, when you install your first mod, you just can't go back to stock. Of course i had multiple crashes and I couldn't run copernicous and KSPIE, but i always thought it was because of weak integrated graphics. However, i recently got additional 4 GB from a friend, and boy oh boy does it make a difference. It can easily run Kerbal Star Systems, KSPIE and 80+ other mods, and i am just so happy. So, how much do you have and what are your experiences?

  7. I agree, autostruts might be causing this, but for me, they are somehow essential. i can't just put ordinary struts all over my plane's wings. It raises part count and looks ugly. So, i think they are a great tool, but need to be used only when really needed.
  8. Well, i wouldn't say so. The most desctructive (what do you say we call that) "shift glitch" occured to me on a spaceplane while reentering. The spaceplane had a mk1 cargo bay with batteries and solar panels. The bay changed the angle and was affected by aerodynamics. It ended up being so bad, i had to abort landing since the plane became uncontrollable.

Ever designed an ion probe and put it in orbit just to realize that the ejection burn will be on the dark side of Kerbin? *turns on infinite electricity* Ever succesfully brought a craft home from Eeloo just so that the push from your last stage puts your periapsis at 71 km? *hyper-edits the craft to the KSC* Or did you ever make a duna lander with just enough TWR to take off? And added batteries/parachutes/insertstuffhere afterwards? *furiosly hacks gravity* Just some highlights
  11. You mean like, change the angle/position while keeping the parts attached to the shifted part at the same location? That often happens to me, not only with clipped parts. I think it happens because of the physical timewarp, combined with huge forces (like reentry/landing). It also sometimes happens on the launchpad, with a huge clipped craft.
  12. Now, if this is a known thing, it will make me look dumb, but is the largest centrifuge modeled after the centrifuge 'Hermes' from The martian had? They look suspiciously similar
  13. Just wanted to say, the mod does not calculate how long a veseel will last if it has a (lets say) water purifier. It only tells me how long they will go with the resources stored aboard. This is pretty annoying, since it makes resource converters extremly hard to use. Any plans for implemeting advanced calculations?
  14. When can we expect 1.4.3 compatibility? Is is already compatible?
  15. Hey, i was wondering if anybody here knows a robotics mod that works in KSP 1.4.2 or 1.4.3? I am getting tired of making stock hinges...

Mod list: Betterburntime, Chatterer, EasySwitch, MechJeb, KRE, FlexoDock, Craftorganizer, Mk3 exp., StockalikeStationParts exp., NearFutureSolar, PlanetaryBases, TweakScale, TimeControl, Ubioweld. ModuleManager + all mods required to support the listed above ones. All mods are perfectly up to date, and i am using 1.4.2 and in my last test i used a fully stock craft. Still the same story. I can provide a screenshot of my folder, if anybody is interested?
  19. Definetely a perfect equatorial orbit. Never had problems with mechjeb. I do use a lot of mods, but i didn't add/update any since i think last week. Also i don't use Copernicus. Just checked. HAPPENS IN ALL SAVES! Even in a newly created one(s). I will provide pics and mod list ASAP, i don't know about the log though. Never done that. Also i am 100% sure it is a game glitch, because i do have some experience and i tried it in different conditions. Thanks for quick response, though i don't think we can fix that :*(
  20. My fellow kerbonauts, i need help right now. It is serius and i don't know what to do. So, i come home, open KSP, open my save and plan a Mun mission. Immediately after making orbit i noticed i could not get an encounter. I just thought "hmm maybe i am just being stupid here", and so i tried everything i could to get an encounter. It didn work. Note that i have planned several Mun, Eve and Duna missions before and i never had a problem. So, i relaunch a ship, thinking it was a temporary glitch, but same thing happens. At the end i decided to use MechJeb to plan it for me, and it got an encounter with the Mun, but in an orbit that was super high, almost like Minmus. I executed it, but i just flew away on my trajectory, not even getting close yo the Mun. However, i did encounter it on the way back. And guess what happened. As soon as i entered Mun's SOI, i got thrown away in a completely new Kerbin orbit, almost like i just flew by. But i didn't it just flashed and i couldn't stop it. I tried everything, but it happens every time. Mun just rejects me. I don't know what to do, and i am afraid my save is corrupted. P.S. I would add a picture but i don't know how

  22. Hello! I started playing ksp a month ago and have achieved landing on both moons and duna. During my playtime, some questions popped up in my mind, and i thought i would ask for help here: - How do you get your kerbals back in your sstos/planes? Kerbals don't seem to like ladders a lot. - Is there a way to visualize CoM and CoL in flight? - Is part clipping considered cheating in the ksp community? What about autostrut? - Is the delta V required to get from Kerbin's low orbit to (lets say) Duna low orbit the same as the delta V needed to come from Duna's low orbit back to Kerbin's low orbit? - Can i write blogs about KSP on this forum and if so, how? - How do you fit very large objects (like skycranes) into the fairings? -Also, why do the 5m fairings have giant holes in them? - What do CanopyMaxRotationRate and SpreadAngle on chutes do? - Is there any point to adding nosecones/fairings based on what i heard of the stock aerodynamic system? - Are ion engines really that useless? - Is there any point to building stations/bases in career mode?
