  3. Unfortunately it didn't but I did it another way round. I put nothing but USS and similar in the first file. Works like a dream.

  5. In stock you won't use all your ablator. Not even close, it's wasted weight. However speeds of re-entry in JNSQ are higher so the heat on re-entry greater. JNSQ is balanced for stock parts so if you run in to trouble it's likely your design or flight profile. :-)
  6. I assure you they can. I have been using JNSQ since launch and you'll need to adjust your speed, re-entry angle. Re-entry is supposed to be tricky, just like real-life. Definitely set your SAS to surface not orbit. Be prepared to wiggle a little and don't come in too shallow, take the g-force and get through the heat. I usually re-enter with my periapsis between 35 and 40k.
  7. I'm pretty sure that the stock inventory system is going to be used heavily so I would go for 1.11.1 if you can.
  8. That's in your control on the difficulty settings. Just click the USI button when in the KSC and check your settings.
  9. Is there anyway to control the auto added alarms to KAC? I dont want these alarms to stop warp, I have disabled that on all other alarms but I am guessing KCT passes the variables to KAC. Any tips if I can make this work, either here or in KAC?
  10. Very interested in this as I was building my own similar mod just last night. I wondered if your thinking of adjusting the fuel tanks too? I will download this myself now and take a look at what you have done. I will also ensure I update TechTree Kompacted for your new branch too.

  12. I just installed this and did test flight, it looks very very nice. I did notice that when I landed on the Mum, with the stock Apollo like ship, the landing legs went through the terrain. The kerbal did not when he went EVA. Is this normal? (Latest Parallax, CKAN install. Eve and Scatterer only, was a brand new test install)

  15. Yeah, this is an easy fix. Rename probeCoreSphere to probeCoreSphere_V2 The Stayputnik model was updated a few versions ago and the old part deprecated.
  16. Launch enough rockets to get enough science to build a plane. Fly or Drive that plane around to get enough science to unlock a bigger rocket to send the stayputnik to space. Unlock better wings or a booster with gimble and on an up you go. There is so much science you can get you'll have that next probe core in no time.

  18. The first run on the part_load errors due to the filename. Seems like it's trying to read ksp\GameData\.cfg on its first run through the loop and not finding the first filename. I'll figure it out but unfortunately Work is paying me to do something else in Excel today, how rude.
  19. I'm only really interested in the file scrape of parts. Building my own Unkerballed Start tree and I just want to make it easier on myself to move the parts. The hardest bit of which is making the database list! Thanks for checking, I'll see if I can fiddle with it some more.

  21. I'm playing around with this after already using Excel to build my TechTree, really interested in the scraping of files to get part data but I just can't get it to work. Keep getting a VBA error on the Parts tab. I can pull the files into the 'Files' tab but thats the only sheet that seems to work for me. Any tips here @XLjedi?
  22. Highly unlikely. Kerbalism is not about colony building and is more realistic in those terms. They have fundamental differences in their playstyles.
  23. That update is still in progress. Like the rest of us you'll have to patiently wait for the next big update to drop. Hopefully soon (TM) please @RoverDude !
