The title, it doesn't make sense when they disappear when they crash into Kerbin.

good idea but FTL tech isn't needed cause you can use stock engines to get around a stars orbit

they are, for the cool star effects on the wormhole just add some clouds on it like avp interstellar does, and transport the vessel super fast to the destination wormhole.

you should add wormholes, they act as a transport to other star systems if you can't get to them (sorry if they're already added, i don't know how to go to another star)

That is a launcher, which squad did not fix.

that's not a launcher, it's the game itself plus we need the launcher for certain things.
