If you look after your tools, they look after you. If you're cutting sushi and the knife needs to be sharp, make it sharp. If you're cutting vegetables, don't make it so sharp. In other words, use the right tool for the job and LOOK AFTER IT. Otherwise, it could break or cause someone harm.

The Moderation Nation Space Program

Sorry. I'm not following the turns - I just want to see someone who's better than KSP than me send Val to Vall and (hopefully) stop by Laythe. And if said person is a moderator, who knows what will happen? Also, I wanted to chip in with a suggestion anyway, and I tagged Snark because he's the only one who's built a station which can refuel itself that I know of. I haven't looked through ALL of the mission reports, so I'm not sure if anyone else has anything with an ISRU converter.- 214 replies

The Moderation Nation Space Program

There are some very interesting - and cool - missions in this thread. Anyway, THE CHALLENGE: Send Val to Vall in a single stage to Vall spaceplane. Feel free to stop by Laythe (please do), use gravity assists, go crazy. ISRU's are allowed, but it must be a single launch - no refueling from the Capricorn, @Snark. It can be multiple parts, and can be assembled in orbit. It would be nice if it can return on a single stage, too. However, it doesn't have to be single stage from the Joolian system, just to it.- 214 replies
