  1. Question for the regulars who use this mod, does this work fine in 1.11.1? I just came across this mod in a search, something I want to use. I use the use Craft Manager before, last time I played a few years ago. I kind of want something different and a little light weight, like this mod.

  3. Yeah my brain wanted to organize them a bit for future references. I mostly wanted to do it for myself when I back them up on my HD. I can go a year or so without playing and when I come back I like to know what was going on. I tend leave notes for myself. Yeah I remember them reworking Unity back then. I am surprise too, by some grace this mod works fine. So what are you going to do recompile the mod and check it for any errors and give an update? It is a nice mod, for only wanting to change one thing in game Navball. I honestly do not use TR anymore and don't need to download all that for Navball. I use to use TR to add in custom suits and skybox, but Squad revamp the suits and added in customizable colors and they even updated their skybox to be higher resolution, which looks 100x better than the old one. Now with the Restock mod, reskins of all the parts looks amazing.
  4. I been around since KSP added in the Mun, way back when. That is when I first started playing. A gaming buddy of mine, was like try out this game. I was like what do you do? He said I am trying to land this rocket on the Mun. And that is what we did back then we both played to see if we could get off the planet first and land on the Mun. I come back now and again and play KSP. I usually mess around in Sandbox. I have not tried career much. I guess career gives that old feeling of struggle when game first came out. I remember being super excited about building a rocket and it going up. I was like I am in orbit, but realized after, that going into orbit is not about going straight up. Chatterer is like the first mod I always add. Then I look to see how EVE is doing, I only use it for clouds. I don't use Scatterer, since I don't like losing FPS. Docking Port Alignment Indicator is a must for me, I have a hell of a time docking without it and it makes it messy. DPAI once I learned it, is a very nice tool. I can set up a nice dock from far away and drift right in for perfect lineup. Alarm Clock is nice, I am very surprised some of its feature are not in game now. RasterProp, I use to use, but I stopped since a lot of IVA were not done. Back in early days of that mod, I did a few if not most of the IVAs. It was a pain in the butt. Yeah I am really surprised clouds and atmospheres of some planets and moons are not done stock. They did good job redoing the textures. Maybe they are going to do that after all textures are done. KER, I don't know if I need to remove it or not. Seems like vanilla game has so read outs. We will see. CKAN makes it so much easier these days, compared to the very early days.

I am going to edit my post above with info. Give me a bit to sort it out. I keep finding more pairs, lol.

Might need to do that with other files that have emissives with them. I think the others have their file names similar and their emissives are next to them. I think a readme file would not hurt. But thanks for this, everything is one place. Good way to backup these somewhere so that they don't get lost. I will definitely keep them on my HD for storage.
  9. Yeah back in day, I would use a ton of mods. I think twice since the lifetime of KSP, I took long breaks from game, uninstalled and reinstalled, and downloaded mods again, each time a lot less. My main point was to get more of a vaniila feeling. These days thankfully a player can, with a lot of QoL additions to the game. My mains modes that I don't have to add anymore are ones that did like precision nodes, action groups during flight and something that gave me more info during flight like KER. Well with addition to base game the better node stuff, action groups during flight and more info during flight. I really don't need to find those mod fillers. I still use KER, but I might remove it, vanilla game gives me enough info. I started out vanilla this time, with mindset of a handful of mods. I think I am at 17, might go to 20 when some update or go down when I decided to trim some. Honestly that is not a lot of mods for KSP. All are QoL things, nothing vanilla game changing. I am using Restock and Restock+ which I find a most have for the game. I think having less mods and mods that are not gaming changing, mods that won't break a save when a new update comes out, would allow the transition a new update better. That is my main goal with my mods, they have to allow my save game not to break when a new update comes out. I don't want to be stuck in a save game from a year ago or more when a new update comes out, I want to experience the new features.
  10. Maybe I gave the one to you then and you added it to your collect. If so I can't recall where I got it. I just assumed you because when I downloaded it, I named the file after you, so I could remember.

  13. Yeah I don't code either . The best I could do was some personal Module Manager configs along time ago. I have not played KSP since maybe 1.7 or 1.8, has been maybe 2 or 3 years. A lot of nice things have been added by Squad. I love the fact that I can change suits or customize them. I use to use TR for that, so once less mod now. I am happy that Squad gives out the expansions out to players who own the game since the early days. And after finding the Restock mod, I am in love. One wish I would love to see Squad do is finally add clouds to Kerbin and maybe Laythe, and some Jool Layers. I am glad they are going back and revamping the textures of planets and moons. I feel once they have clouds layers on some, I could stop using EVE.

  15. I have the 1.6 backup on my HD from years ago. I also have a set of textures I like. I use these ones, used them for years. Yeah it would be a good idea to have the all in one location. I was going to use TR for the Navball, I like the addition of the new Kerbals face, but as it turned out the new suits and the way you can customize them does not work well in TR right now. Yeah I do the same, I move Navball to the left. I am glad KSP added that feature, I always disliked it in the middle. By the way, what Navball textures do you use? @Stone BlueI might have been mistaken about recompile, I saw the post on this page from a while back saying you tried to recompile it. I guess I was wrong. If 1.6 works fine, I will use it. Does it kick up any log errors?
  16. Good thanks. I meant the navball position can be moved left or right on screen. Are you using the default download or a recompile version? I asked because someone above did a recompile a while back.
  17. Sounds good, I might hold out until you get that update out. I am still learning a bit about KSP 1.11.1. It has been a few years or more since I played, lol. Lots of cool stuff. Loving the new Restock mod also.

  19. Thanks for reply. I use to use I guess I will give that a go, no one maintains it now. I just get lucky once in a while and someone recompile it. That mod was made way back, KSP later on did some things to Navball, gave use the ability to change size and placement. So I do not know how that will affect it. Well thanks for your help.
  20. Does anyone have a recompile version for KSP 1.11.1? Does anyone still use this? I am not sure DiRT can do the same thing and I don't want to use TR since I only need to replace the navball. I am not sure if this version of NavBallTextureChanger supports all the new navball UI scaling and rearrangement.
  21. @Cydonian MonkDoes this mod do Navball? If it does, will it do IVA Emissive texture as well?
  22. @shawIf you don't mind could you add this to main page for Navball, for players who want to use these. I have been using them for years, they were posted here: @JAFOmade the main texture back then. @WasabiThumbsmade me the emissive version. I am sure players here will enjoy them, since NavBallTextureChanger is not a thing anymore and your mod can do what that mod did anyways. If anyone wants to get them now, just download these two PNGs. Rename the main one on top NavBall and the other one NavBallEmissive and put them in the Default folder. They should both be .png files. Credit to @JAFO and @WasabiThumbsfor sharing these with me years ago.
  23. If you guys don't want to use the version 5.0 with Firespitter plugin, I understand. There is a download link for version 4.0 where you can just manually change the color of the panels that you want. Which was my original way I did it back in the day.
  24. I assume this does not really need an update, just the title and CKAN availability in KSP 1.11.x unless Firespitter changed a lot since last time I played KSP.
