  1. #1 I build a new ship, go to launch, and the game loaded some other ship. I found out it's loading the auto save file. I delete the file and it takes several attempts to launch the right ship #2 The game currently is lagging like hard core is almost unplayable. I deleted all fo the debris, cleaned out some builds I never use and deleted some old save files. Still it lags #3 The clock on the burn time is messed up. I have 48 second burn. I light the engine. Clock is like: 48,47,48,47,46,47,47,48,47,46. Needless to say the burn is way longer than 48 seconds. #4 after updates some of my older builds do not work anymore. I built a Saturn V replica and it worked like a charm for 15 missions. Now I launch it and it just topples over and worm wiggles. Just came here for some feed back
  2. Thanks! Yeah I probably will just be orbiting and observing and using the probe as a comms relay. I have a rover attached to the probe, but I am pretty sure I will burn up with no heat shield
  3. Hi fellow KSP'ers I just recently made a successful trip to Duna and back to Kerbin. And today I sent a probe to Eve for the first time. I had the hardest time trying to get an encounter node though. Major pain in the rear
  4. So recently I was making my first attempt at reaching EVE, and I'm on my way. However I noticed something really odd going on. I am orbiting Kerbin, and I got my manuever node set for an encounter with eve. I start my burn, and then switch to the tracking mode solar system view. As my apoapsis is increasing I get Mun encounters along the way (which happens), but then all of sudden with about 30 seconds of burn to go my SAS system just starts to wig out and my ship just starts spinning and does not know where to go, and then that's the end of that. I noticed I start the burn and just stay in the 3rd person camera view and just burn until the clock says stop, it does not wig anymore. I mean this is fine I guess but the game is not supposed to work like this, and it didn't do this before the updates. So yeah I am on my way to EVE for the first time!......but something is definitely screwy
  5. I am not sure what is causing your crashing, but recently I went into tracking mode, and noticed I had 213 pieces of debris floating in space. I deleted all of those and now the game is running like butter
  6. Today I successfully landed a rover on Duna. A lot went wrong on this mission. But I did it!
  7. Hi, I am predominately a console gamer, but I have an Imac purchased this year. Is KSP playable on mac? I've done some research but I always come across "to play ksp on mac you need to....." which basically always involves gerryrigging and file manipulation. If anyone could point me in the right direction and the steps to install and play on mac, that would be great.
  8. I assembled a rover so I can drive on Mun and minmus. At the moment I have it attached to my space craft via decoupler. The idea is to activate the decoupler (on the mun it just drops, and on minmus it freaking launches). Then, if necessary, activate the landing struts on the rover to flip over so it's right side up. To do this I have to switch to controlling the rover via selecting through tracking station. Problem is when switch to the rover via tracking station, all of sudden my rover is no longer on the ground but falling from 16,000 meters and then just crashes to the surface. This does not make any sense I am playing Ksp enhanced edition on Ps4.
  9. Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and have been playing KSP since January 2018 on my PS4. Ideally I would like to play on my imac but I do not think that is possible at the moment without some sort of jerry rigging. At any rate so far my accomplishments in KSP include (in order they happened): 1. Basic rocket construction, launch and rentry 2. Achieving orbit 3. Achieving lunar Mun orbit 4. Landing on the mun and coming back safely (This was the 2nd mission. It was a rescue mission to get Valentina off who was stranded on the mun on the first mission). 5. Landing on minmus and coming back safely 6. Arriving at Duna and having a probe in orbit Right now I am trying to learn orbiting rendezvous and docking. A well to be frank.....KSP's lesson tutorial sucks.
