  1. I've never actually seen a full flight in first person so I thought I'd try to see if I could do it, turned out pretty well and I was happy with the orbit I achieved. (my mic seems better but I tend to mumble cause I'm a little bit shy sometimes)
  2. i try not to use toooo many mods except kerbal engineer, but the official update actually included some of those readouts so it's much easier, still i just like having it
  3. (as always i usually post the wrong topic in the wrong forum so an admin is more than welcome to move this) I just reached orbit in one of my SSTOs in first person only (which also mean no maneuver nodes, it was actually really fun). It was basically instrument flying and i realized how usefully the physical instruments in the cockpit are. After you leave the atmosphere they don't seem to do that much since I guess they assume it's only for kerbin flight but yeah, I'm always impressed with this game.
  4. After a LOT of testing i just barely made it able to do what it did, it is a fun plane to fly though
  5. this is the kerbaliest thing ive seen in a minute
  6. oh it's all good! honestly just the fact that i built an SSTO that can make it to Duna and back is enough for me. this is really interesting though, this concept. honestly ive always thought about how nice it would be to conveniently go to mars but i always thought of how long the journey would be. a little over a year would DEFINITELY be doable if it was a civillian flight
  7. Thanks man! It's definitely difficult, most important thing is the launch (i added a bit too much rocket fuel for both ascents to i went a bit easier on myself. Don't get yourself down though, an SSTO is still an SSTO. I'm about to watch your video too!
  8. I've never done it but i added up the delta v and have a lander and tug in orbit and im about to explore it for the first time, i never actually have seen any videos of anyone landing on Moho so it's even more interesting. No real point in this thread other than that, I'm trying to be more active in the community and all that jazz
  9. i am surprised i made it this far in the game being how dumb i am because i see stuff like this and am dumbfounded
  10. lol yeah i could've been fine if i would've transferred right after taking off but i thought for a kerbin return transfer kerbin had to be INFRONT of duna and yeahhhh that was not the case lol well it only took three minutes for that to irk me so by the end of the week i'll do a true speedrun
  11. I just eyeballed it, i found the highest point via google (took some time to find a decent 3d map) but it took a few tries to not landing on a slope hold up i'll try to find it for ya
  12. wellllllp might as well plug this video again, i could've shaved some time off if i didn't mess up the kerbin transfer window the first time but: Duna and back in 4 years and 408 days
  13. pretty cheeky of me not to mention that the spot on eve where i launched was very close to the highest point on the planet (i.e. i can't remember but around 5000m above sea level... (it takes a bit to get an accurate landing but it's worth it)
  14. ive tried simple a few simple rentry situations and yeah they just vaporize, not even like P O O F just meep then gone edit: by "situations" i mean entry with a kerbal on the outside outside of the craft(even away from the flames). idk if that's what you meant lol
  15. okay this is the last post im gonna make. i was just proud of my accomplishment, but this is what i did today
  16. Well this is my first official video for KSP and I'm pretty proud of this mission, took ten days of testing to get it to Duna in back but the very last design works very well and even has an added fighter jet sorta feel so I was very happy with that because I'm a slave for aesthetics. I also wanted to do commentary which is why the intro is a bit longer than it should be. I still might do it and re-upload it, we'll see. Enjoy!
