Landing guidance doesn't matter. You need to check the utilities menu. If "Limit Q to..." is checked, you get the problem you're describing.
That seemed to be it, I never would have thought of that. Thanks for the help!

Usually MechJeb is the culprit here, namely the limit Q setting.
I have tested it with and without landing guidance and it is still acting the same way.

Hi, I am having a problem with FMRS in KSP 1.6. I am using a falcon 9 style rocket. After booster separation, I go to land my first stage, but as I get close to the ground I am losing the ability to throttle (up, down, full, 0, etc) the engines. I know that FMRS is the cause as everything works perfectly without FMRS active. I believe it may be something with the second stage hitting the ground first as I've observed that I've lost control of the throttle around then. Am I doing something incorrectly?

Thanks for such a wonderful mod.
I'm just having a small problem. I'm currently using the newest version of TSC and KK with KSP 1.4.2.
When I go into the konstructs menu (ctrl+k) in flight, no static objects appear for me to place. Am I doing something wrong or is there something else wrong?

This may be a stupid question, but I’m confused on the use of the parts in this mod.
I’m attempting to use this mod to recover a capsule by picking it out of the water and onto my recovery vessel. I know I’m attempting the impossible trying to lift a 22 metric ton capsule with a crane, but I’ve using the hw-80 winch and the HE-03 magnet. My problem arises when the magnet breaks off from the socket. Is there a better part for this or is there values I can change so that the magnet will not break off of the socket?
