  1. then they "rush" to force a "beta test" with dangled moar boosters carrot (correlating with people complaining about 1.8 unity "data harvesting") ?. ...i just stop playing / start complaining.
  2. 1) they are gathering boring metadata 2) kerbals doesn't have "battle mode" / said "nosey" company is who is providing the games for you to play on. 3) see: '1)' 4) dunno how background logging software can "break games" BUT i don't know about coding. footnote: "stupid M$ could not be smart enough to steal my data"... - pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft
  3. why are people so butthurt about "analytics" ? - you guys don't have windows 10 ? (...or tinfoil hats alternatively) what am i missing ? thanks.
  4. i was meaning texture rendering in a vast space (ie. pixel reflections / shading in relation to the sun etc) not "lights" and hardware monitor is indicating all CPU cores are processing, at non full load (and not stressing out a single core) - so i am confused. woow woow down shoot down KSP2 this far prior to release
  5. no because the nuclear engine we have already already burns "jet fuel".... so i would debate the bit about: ...
  6. i am waiting also, maybe they should HURRY UP so we don't have to wait so long ? (OR release betas for community testing, instead of steam auto-installs breaking stock games).
  7. do you by anychance know how long bug fests take to be sorted out ? thanks.
  8. i have this problem as of 1.8 unmodded... game crashes trying to land lander (mun), also rcs EVA = game crashes trying to land on surface (game works fine above 100m from ground seemingly.... (maybe wrong)). think it's to do with the "1.8 improving "framerates" (guessing they did something to the code that poops out with the surface calculations (???))
  9. you need to get your orbit linear (i.e. if you launched originally at 90 degrees; do the same) then, with your periapsis over it, burn retrograde in advance so the map mode indicates will be landing ontop. ...it's more difficult landing on the same spot then going there in the firstplace (need more fuel etc for the presicion maneuvers / it's a "whole new more difficult mission"). i would make a massive craft with 4 spaces, and then leave most in linear orbit around the mun, then land a lander and attach the kerbals and then rendevouz lander with the craft to get home - you can ferry the kerbals on ladders etc, (you only need the one seat for your lander.) (once you can manage to do that though then you can pretty much do anything (it's tricky having them stuck in space...) #savethekerbals
  10. can we please get rid of the "this image contains mods" and username plain text and put the signature ONLY in low transparency at the bottom like this please: because it looks bad (on the loading screen, nice as above) and nobody cares that the images contain mods, it's a picture not "false advertising". thankyou.
  11. hello, you are kind of not allowed to call people that where i come from (not that i wish to lecture people in the criminal justice systems...) i hate maths too though! *high five*
  12. "never o' clock" (about 2 years after release).
  13. Simpson describes KSP2 as the 'Yes, and…' version of the original game ...it's a KSP1 re-hash using unity again; watch the "meet the developers" video, they are texture re-moddeling... CPU-Z is telling me all cores and threads are being used, and below 30% (ryzen 2600) are you sure it is not the GPU having to render light from absolutely everywhere ("space") or did they change to "multicore" 1.8 ? thanks
  14. i like the simplicity of kerbals as they are but it would be nice if they were less inclined to ragdoll all over the place and were considerably faster moving about.
  15. i think they might mean that the outcome of "launch" of "monstrosity that have no idea why someone would build in the first place", is different DESPITE remaining the very same "monstrosity that have no idea why someone would build in the first place" - thus it denotes it is a "bug" in the physics engine... i have thought there has been "wind on kerbin" before though, but others have informed me this was "my imagination".... so well done for finding a "bug" johnny...
  16. no it's not... it's only more efficient, for not having to crawl into small spaces / not having to contort etc. verterbrate is only good for planets comparitive to earth... but granted upright posture is better for "building" ("upwards"), as opposed to "tunneling"... THUS i would debate as general statement something like "smaller then humanoid invertebrate with 4 legs and 2 arms, and non-auditory / visual sensory sytem" would be better as default, but this would be providing there was adequate engery sources to power said limbs... (and no sharp out of-sensory pieces about the place) - "swings and roundabouts". the "mostest bestest" would be a "being" composed of supreme intelligence and no matter...
  17. my rx570 starts stumbling already @ 30 fps lock, low settings SINGLEPLAYER (2560 x 1440), as above. oh; it's a game exclusively for people who have rtx 2080 SLI then.... ... "hey star theory is there actually going to be multiplayer like you said so or is it going to be basically ksp1 with somebodys base mod in vanilla that only people with a rtx 2080 sli setup can play ???" (i am annoyed because it is seemingly going to tarnish the reputation of a great game / people are going to be butthurt when it looks NOTHING like the video.)
  18. spiders patiently wait in webs for their food come to them instead of walking around, talking about how great they are / debating "politics" etc... can build their owns "homes" derived from self / octupus are masters of the sea. depends on what you want from life doesn't it ?.
  19. looks to me, like they have just texture remodeled KSP1, whilst adding in KSP1 base mods as "their own" are using the exact same engine, the exact same music to promote... (as from alpha gameplay - KSP1 launch and "wobble physics"), and probably only got the contract from take two because they claimed to be able to add multiplayer... (adding "framerate drop" at the moment ("alpha gameplay"), and this is without landscape textures, is not assuring for multiplayer, where the players computers will have to exchange physics.). but i am a cynic... (don't worry for them though, they have known to change developer company name previously - "they will be fine" )
  20. you have to factor in the release of DLC and not just version updates i think, you would imagine it will be this month or next. (i.e. 1.7 > 1.73 (as opposed to 1.8) 3 months, 1.73 > 1.8 "3 months" (they have until the end of the month / the "11th" is confirmation bias, they are not "late").
  21. *"rigid" albert suggests... "not a mystery" snark says... before pointing out, the curren't thing, we have, is a "concetual theory" that *"doesn't make sense" (on "mysteries") ...because physics correlate to the electromagnetism of the "spinning biome" which we live... which is spinning around the sun, which exterior is spinning around itself (- because "everything is spinning all of the time" (despite what a tardigrade may tell you)) - so you can use a singular point of reference (the centre of spin, at singular reference frame in "space time", in history for wholly pointless reason (i.e. so you know where you are if you are flying about in space, in singular system (AND ???), if you like ?. OR you can understand about quantum entanglement verifying the "mystery" of the above... that the sun itself and everything around it is also "spinning" in space, in infinite universe, which factually does not have centre point... "everything down to quantum particle level is spinning in precise harmony with everything else, in entire UNIVERSE" "huh that's strange"... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indra's_net
  22. also have genetics wrong, genetics work like "organic chemistry" BUT without ability to know (i.e. in vitro is redundant) see: mendels laws of "independant assortment". and obviously "prevention is better then the cure", the "cure" being "putting the war inside the kerbal" (because the recessive, is very important, and there is a psychological component, to the kerbal.... ANYWAY, on extinction: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falkland_Islands_wolf which is uncivile ? ...
  23. don't worry; the fresh prince already taught me: BUT. seemingly people are taking launch site location, rotation of the earth, "gravity" (read: on newton plagurising hookes work on "electromagnetism" (see: "duality"), then albert hodgepoding, sellotape like theory that "space is composed of rigid matter moving outwards" (and flat earthers get grief for being stupid...). "let me tell you story all about how, life got flip turned upside down"
