  1. hate: building a lander for a planet and having to "guess" the fuel because of no testing possible in said gravity without actually going there > why not add a test building where you can supposedly "virtually" test your craft trough different atmospheres and gravities? nothing to do besides planting flags > add something to do, preferably to do with science and research that has a basis in real life energy has too few uses, the solar panels are massively overpowered (especially the small ones) > maybe the science stuff could help love: everything else, i really love this game
  2. thats actually NOT simpler, and requires way more code the easiest way to do it, is to give the kerbals a weight maximum, and to make each object or tool add certain weight to the total
  3. no single trip is unique, it would be a very good way to teach the game to people
  4. fun things aside, balloons and ect would be a good addition
  5. i do this, just make your ship wide, make fuel lines take fuel from the outside of the ship and strip off the sides when they run out
  6. you are basically sending these probes "into the deep" ether you plan for them to adapt themselves if needed, or you accept that they will hit barriers they cannot cross
  7. To all the people thinking this publisher needs the money to make it, wrong kick-starter is just an easy way of getting the word out and hype people with getting some cash for it as well sure they are no valve, but these guys are uber entertainment... not a few guys in a basement... these guys have the experience and the methods to get a game like this funded no matter what ether way, i donated 40$
  8. its an unofficial hl3 for me basically its a mod trying to put hl1 into source gone WILD AND OUT OF CONTROLE these guys started off as a mod and ended up with a real game dev team helped out by valve and producing aaa list game content
  9. the eu has more economical power then china atm, china may be big but its a bubble and very volatile... the eu is more robust then the US and china in current day... they might have problems but thats just it... problems the US is a powder keg with a fuse that no-one knows how long it is... i hope it does not blow up in my lifetime so to put it back on topic... if theres going to be a moonbase, its probably largely EU based, because they are the only guys with economical drive to do this stuff then again, the EU always gets the US or RUSSIA or any other countries involved to spread the cost... so probably co-owned by others like the ISS
  10. theres nothing better then playing with aircraft with highway to the dangerzone in loop
  11. finally figured out how aircraft (can) work ... sorta
  12. what happens to the crane itself... does it just 'crash' somewhere?
  13. could it be possible to make oxigene usage by the crew and gain from solar panels lower, as to make it easier to just take oxigene with you for the trip? for example, the moon landings were all done on oxigene supplies, even all power was created by using oxigene in a chemical reaction
  14. game crashes when i leave the solar system when i leave sols orbit, after a certain distance the path stops and when my craft gets there the game crashes voyager 2 is made all stock parts besides some visual models like a radio dish and solar panels that are just models what am i doing wrong? edit: i passed the 200.000.000.000 mark now, (aka, i didn\'t crash the third time i tried) i successfully left orbit of the sun, and am moving in a relatively straight line at 10000 m/s i aimed my radio dish at the earth to enable communication over range, my deep space telemetry antenni are searching for weak signals and sensors are picking up all kinds of strange anomalies as the edges of the solarsystem creeps slowly closer
