Thank you, I ended finding the solution to my problem after digging through reddit about Kopericus. Apparently sometimes solar panels don't work if you don't have Modular Flight Integrator installed, which I guess I didn't. Sorry if I wasted any of your time, I'm now on my way to Minmus

I'm loving this mod so far, the gold foil is great!
