I think that many of you can agree with me in saying that KSP2 won't be able to run on our laptops and will need a pretty beefy computer to run, I as well as other people will switch to consoles to actually be able to comfortably play the game but that taps into another issue, mods. KSP players usually play with mods let that be kerbal engineer, mechjeb, or a parts and gameplay expansion, we use mods and console will not let us do that. I can't dock or rendezvous without mechjeb let alone land on anything other than the Mun. I play Farming Simulator and in the last two games they implemented an in-game modhub what has curated mods what you can download in-game. This also allows the devs of the game to choose which mods are more stable or thoughtful and won't break the game. I think this solution to mods on consoles will be streamlined and simple.   5. I’m just guessing by our current progression in the real world, fusion will probably come within 50 years from know and the stuff they showed use so far is pretty probable once fusion is real.
  6. I wish there was a dislike button but that is too close to ftl ksp2 takes place 200 years in the future. Wormholes are magic compared to warp drives.
  7. The original KSP team was pretty good but Nate and his crew are actually corporate and have bosses who want a game to be made.
  8. It’s actually not that hard, I’m thinking a tank just becomes a habitat not modular. Instead of fuel it holds kerbals and has an IVA.

  15. on the new ksp2 video all of the in-game footage still said pre alpha so it could be a bit of a wait
  16. with the need to transfer materials and fuel across ships from colonies it would be handy to have a KAS like system rather than using docking ports each time.
  17. I was rewatching the trailer and I noticed the orion drive ship's cargo pods were the same as the cargo pods on the duna rover. Maybe you can move these containers and attach them to your craft outside of the game, and also a purpose for moving cargo. https://imgur.com/W0tODZp
  18. they say unchanged but, in actuality the whole system is being rebuilt from scratch just the planets will remain the same.
  19. I would like to see an in game modhub where you can browse and download crafts and mods in game.
