  1. Reported Version: v0.1.3.2 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: windows 11 | CPU: i7-9800 | GPU: RTX 2060 | RAM: 16 gb not sure if it's the case in other language, but in French, if i click on a maneuver and i say skip to this point, or if i click on my trajectory and i click skip to this point, when the time skipping will return to 1X the message say that the time acceleration have stop because of a nearby body. but it's not the case, it's because i'm at my maneuver or at the point that i asked. by the way, that message appear behing the navball, it's too low on the screen. https://imgur.com/a/EIYV81a Included Attachments:
  2. i tried to land on the Mun, but upon separation of my lander the whole ship exploded for no reason. Oh well, i'll try it again tomorrow
  3. I guess it might be a bug but it's also a feedback... but the french translation is not finish. Several parts just show "Translate_me"...
  4. Alright, so it was a big week for me. First I keep messing with EVA construction. Keep in mind I play on an unmodded version. The problem I had is that when I was building a rover on the Mun, I first had to unload the main body of the rover, and then attached the wheels. However, each time I tried to attached a wheel, the thing keep flying around because the wheels were placed halfway into the ground. So I designed that contraption. First I tried to launch the rocket with it already attached to the rocket, but it messed up my balance, so I put all the pieces in cargo, and attached it to the rocket once on the Mun. Once the arm install and secure, I builded the rover attached to it And finally, undocked it, Et voilà, a built on the spot Mun rover ! With That done, the new mission was to take a ground sample of Kerbin south pole. I decided to bring a rover with a plane, but I challenge myself to not docked them. And I quickly realized, that KSP does not like that, at all... So first I builded an heavy transport plane with a cargo hold and a nice rover that fit in the cargo Loaded the rover inside Secured the cargo Bring the onboard tech to secure the cargo properly in EVA construction mode And off we go... and it's halfway around Kerbin, it was very very long. good thing the plane was very stable in flight, so I actually left the plane fly by itself and I took a shower... Ok, I need to work on my landings ! but hey, every one survived, and the rover was still in good shape, it count right ?
  5. yeah, i've seen the same exact thing. the RCS seems to be ignited (even i had no fuel at all on the module), couldnt save. same command module as well.
  6. you can put stuff on the ground, and then pick them up to build something in EVA construction mode. but outside eva construction mode, you cannot. Put a parachute on the ground, and a regular kerbal cannot pick it up. the only work around, is to have an engineer comming, enter eva construction mode, pick it up from the ground and put it in another kebal personal inventory not really, when i say i rely on eva pack to climb up the rocket, i have nothing else in my inventory. i'm only carrying things down, not up.
  7. it's a knowned and already reported bug. You can drop on the ground items (eva packs, eva fuel, parachute, eva experiment kit, etc), and ground experiment. but once on the ground you cannot pick them up. basically the game deal with anything placed on the ground in EVA construction mode like a rocket part, that cannot get pick up by a kerbal even if you have the space and weight left in your personal inventory
  8. But on an heavier bodies i would not have relied on EVA pack to climb on the rocket. but on minimum it's way quicker to use the EVA suit from point A to point B. if it had been a mission on Duna, i would have prepared something else. https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/27096 in my case the trouble was that the stroage is at the top of the rocket, there's a ladder to go to the base, but there's a bigger part at the bottom, and since it was only a few meters to the ground, there was no ladder for the last part. i couldnt just jump straight because of the larger base, i couldnt grab anything, and the storage goes too fast to grab the part while jumping. Actually, if they fix the bug that an item cannot be put on the ground in EVA building mode, there would be a logical and easy work around. get your engineer to unload the experiments on the ground and the your scientist can grab them on the ground to deploy them...
  9. yeah i did just that, i tipped the rocket over to reach for the cargo bay from the ground. i'm all for weight and volume restriction so that they dont become camels, but you dont desing your ground experiment to heavy to carry when it's a necessity to carry them... anyway, until they fix that, i will adapt my rockets next time.
  10. i am doing something wrong, or with the update 1.11, it's now impossible for a kerbal to take a ground experiment in his hands to deploy it if it has a eva pack ? That's utterly stupid, because you have to store the eva pack before grabbing the experiments and if like me you never put ladders on ships for Minimus, because it's actually easier to use the jetpack than walking, you either cannot grab the experiments in storage, or you get stranded on Minimus because the kerbal have no eva pack on him, is on the ground, and nobody can bring one to him, because two eva pack weight too much for a single kerbal to carry...
  11. Today, i created my first Mun rover, build from parts stocked in my rocket, with the EVA building. actually, i realised that i didnt had sufficient power to make the scientific instrument to work, and that i missed a beam or two, so i've sent a second rocket with the missing parts. It's crude a bit, but it's working
  12. Non, ça ne devrait pas faire ça. Tu as mentionner que l’equipage a passer plusieurs année à attendre : est-ce que ça se pourrait que le contrat à expirer tout simplement ?
  13. I think there should be a kind of archive in KSP2. I mean by that is that I should be able to look at a timeline or something like that, that keep track of the milestones of my space program. So that after a year of playing I can remember that I first got to orbit at this date, in a ship that was named this, with this crew on board. And for each event like that, you can add pictures, mission patch and write something. There would be automatic milestones (each time you first reach another planet for exemple, and we could flag any mission as a milestone if we wish. Civ 6 does that sort of thing, so at the end of the game, you can watch back your acheivements I think it woulkd add a gameplay mechanic that can be optional, but that many payer would want to do.
  15. Today my Eve unmanned mission arrive on eve and start a burn to get to orbit. i was planning to use aerobraking, but the inflatable heat shield have less tolerance to heat than i though. So it was decided that it would get a large orbit first with the engine, and then do a little aero braking on each orbit to get a shorter orbit. However during the burn Kerbol got between Eve and Kerbin, so i lost communications, and before i realised that i could still cut off the engines, i burned most of my fuel. The probe is in orbot, but it will stay there for a long while...
  16. As a follow up, i checked last night, and i did have both Nvidia audio driver and Realtek installed. i removed the Nvidia ones, and it seems to work for now. thanks for the tip
  17. -Will there be multi monitor support ? -will tue UI will be customizable (more when in flight. change navball position, put stages where i want on the screen, etc.) ? -why Duna terminator is the wrong way in the trailer ? -are they planning to allow certains modders to get the game in advance, so that there will be mods available on day 1 -will there be weather implemented (from only clouds to winds or rain) ? -will it be possible to build a colony on Kerbin (since colony can have their own launching pad, we could place additional launching pas on kerbin where we want)
  18. i already monitor my parts temperature, and it is very stable. the sound driver could make sense. i play Civ 6 without sound, which could explain why it dont happen in that game. i will check that thanks.
  19. I have this problem. often, but it is random, sometimes it does this after 5 minutes, and sometimes i can play several hours. And i havent found yet a common point, it can happen at any stage of the game, but it seem more frequent on planets. The game completely freeze the computer. the sound bug and i have to restart my PC. The thing is that it started to do that around when i installed Breaking ground, but also at the same time i completely rebuild my computer with new parts, so i'm not sure what cause this. It might be KSP but it may be hardware as well. In theory, my PC should run KSP without trouble. i have 16 gb of RAM, a I7-9700, with an Asus NVidia RTX-2060 video card, and a M.2 pci hard drive. I havent suffer bugs outside KSP, but i mainly play KSP and Civ 6 which take less ressources. What can i try to look for the cause of the bug ?
  20. Today as part of a clearing of contracts that will expired when i will carry my 3 years mission to Eve, i made a multi contracts mission. Objectives : recovery on a space debris orbiting Kerbal, having a tourist trip in suborbital trajectory over Kerbin, getting to the Mun, recovery of another debris there, scanning with a gravimeter 8 points above the Mun, heading to Minimus, put a space station in orbit with a tourist in it, take a lander on Minimus to mine a 1000 ore and get a tourist on the surface of Minimus, rendez-vous back with the space station that will go back to kerbin where it will land carrying the 1000 ores, the three tourists, the two debris and my crew. And after 3 hours of gameplay, i got my space station to orbit around minimus to realised that since i started in the VAB with my lander, the space station built after the lander would not count for the contract, and that since i judged that my lander didnt needed and antenna, the contract would not be achieved...
  21. Honestly I don’t think we will hear much from KSP 2 for a while. I would honestly be surprised to see anything before the VGA in early december
  22. I haven’t see any launch neither i’ve seen them in Florida, Washington and new-york but when I was very young i’ve watch Enterprise on the top of the 747 flying over Montreal
  23. Hello fellow Kerbals. I’m 39 from Montreal in Canada. I play KSP since March 2018. I’m passionated by space. I’ve seen for real 3 space shuttles and a Saturn V while visiting museums. I have well over a 1000 hours in KSP, but since I haven’t read a lot of web pages or YouTube videos before playing the progress was slow and often painfull but now I got fairly good results
