Just a quick question, does having a higher gain antenna/better connection to ksc give you a higher percentage of science when you transmit the data?

I had just landed on Duna, in a area that I know has ore. When I activated the drill, though it has a very low rate of mining, nothing was created to refuel. I've also let it run for at least 20 minutes without getting any ore. With the mining rate it shows, it should be getting about 0.016 every two seconds.
