  1. I mostly play KSP on my laptop. For better battery life I limit the framerate and lower the resolution to 720p. KSP 2 does not run on my laptop in its current state but I tried to lower the resolution on my PC and it is very disappointing compared to KSP 1. A few exemples at 720 x 1280, the lowest resolution available for KSP 2. Celestial body and craft name barely readable. Fuel values unreadable. Cross in the top right of windows not visible, this is very annoying. Craft descriptions in the VAB hard to read. Text in the training center unreadable. Overall the KSP 2 UI looks way too small for no reason. And bad scaling of the font used at low resolutions doesn't help. This will be an issue on small devices like the steam deck where the screen is small and 1080p is not an option. I also tried to stream the game to my phone using steam remote play and it is very hard to use the UI compared to KSP 1. Hope to see this part of the game improved in the future!
  2. The music is Amazing! They really need to make it available somewhere. But for some reason I deeply miss the original theme from KSP 1, it was so unique.
  3. I tried with the same settings I use when playing cyberpunk and KSP 1. It works for a few minutes but then lags heavily before crashing the game, even in the VAB. Is it working better for anyone? AMD link seems to work better but only to my phone (probably not a KSP issue).
  4. CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 GPU: RX 580 8GB 16 GB RAM Game on a SSD 60 fps in the VAB but heavy stutter when I click on anything. 15-20 fps around the space center whatever the number of parts on my craft. Framerate drops heavily outside of the KSC area. 60 fps in space but drops to 5 whenever a celestial body is in view. Impossible to land on the Mun. Lowering the graphics or the resolution does nothing to performance. Only playable with a small plane over the water for a few minutes but anything else is a no go.
  5. I don't think they even used RTX in the trailer. But for me it's not a big deal, good lighting effects are possible without it.
