It seems like that even if I get it under 7m/s on the mun, the landing gear fails and yet another crew is doomed to remain on the moon. Just how god damn slow do I need to go? I can safely land on kerbal with landing gear at 7-10m/s, but not so on the less gravity mun? Y U NO MAKE SENSE LANDING GEAR? >

We\'ll use a fuel tank as a example. The fuel tank has a impact tolerance of 6. does this mean that the fuel tank can handle hitting the ground at 6 meters per second, or does this mean something else?
